was diagnosed with PCOS around March this year. then, na-check pa with high blood sugar. my OB prescribed metformin which i take 3x a day (500mg). that helps daw sa PCOS and diabetes. in fairness, i lost a little weight.

my h2b and i are trying to have a baby and twice na, wala pa rin  :( my OB also prescribed clomid for me to take kung hindi successful ang pagco-conceive ko, para daw dumami ang healthy eggs ko. gusto ko na nga mag-try to take barley. baka it'll help. not sure lang where to get it.

sis charlize, baka may myoma ka. i read kasi na isang symptom yun.

Sisses, share ko lang. My OB now doesn't think na may PCOS ako. navindicate ang kagustuhan ko to seek a second opinion. Kaso ang problem, di nya madiagnose kung bakit grabe ang bleeding ko. She referred that I undergo a diagnostic d&c (raspa ata) at medyo natatakot ako. ibabiopsy na rin ata.

I will be scheduling an appointment with this 4th OB. please include me in your prayers, sisses.

What is the usual range for insulin and fasting blood sugar? What if both are within range? Ipagmemetformin parin ba?

FBS - 85.54  normal range 60-99
Insulin - 5.22 normal range 0-23

results after 12 hours of fasting

Share ko lang mga Sis. Under treatment ako for PCOS for 1 1/2 yrs. pero hindi siya gumagaling. Then I stopped the treatment. I resigned from work to free myself from stress. After 9 months na pahinga, eto, nabuntis din sa wakas. Now I'm 3 months pregnant na. Don't lose hope mga Sis. Magkaka-baby din tayong lahat.  :)
