Candles as souvenirs? I know a lot of friends, me included, who received candles as giveaways/souvenirs. Although the thought of giving something--in this case, candle-- to the guests is very much appreciated, not all of them --let's say 90%--will like it.

Just recently, my husband attended a wedding and he got a yellow candle as a souvenir. Tapos may balot pang plastic with a yellow ribbon and a tag na picture ng couple. I asked him what happened to the candle? Hindi na nya alam kung nasan. Hinala nya pinaglaruan ng mga pamangkin nya.

Again, the thought of giving is very much appreciated, but the candle not so much. Why not just give something they can actually use or eat.

Just sharing.

hello poh.. sis sa tingin ko kasi ma-appreciate na poh dito samin ang cake candle or salt pepper shaker.. nasa province lang po kasi kami and dito poh kasi kadalasan ng mga natatangap na giveaways eh mga figurines (di ko sure kung figurines po ba yung tawag dun pero yung mga parang chalk po siya n nilagyan ng abubot ).. anyway thanks po sa sinabi niyo pag naggala nalang kami ni h2b hanap nalang ng iba kung my magustuhan.. tight budget lpo yung wedding namin eh! thanks po ule

^ heym i saw those candles at landmark trinoma but i guess if there are stores in 168 mas mura nga dun pero alam mo, try mo lang punta ng tabora, dun sa kalye, daming nagtitinda ng souvenirs na cuteness i went there to buy swarovski for my wedding details and na amaze ako sa dami ng items for souvenirs.  pero tip lang, punta ka dun ng weekdays ha, pag weekends kasi di kana makakalakad at makaktingin ng maayos good luck

thanks poh sa info.. saan poh ba yang tabora na yan? hehe..from tarlac po kasi ako pero nagpupunta ako sa divi.. and ummmmmh suggest naman poh kayo ng iba pang pwede pang souvenir.. dami ko po kasi iniisip about my wedding kasi sobrang rush.. 3months lang po preparation ko.. wala pa kahit ano...

^check out SM Dept Store and Landmark. Or if youre going back to Divi sometime ask Libbys Houseware sa likod ng DV Mall (right turn frm Tabora if youre facing Divi Mall. Although yunb nakita ko sa Libbys last December maliliit lang. hope this helps

After doing most of the work for my sister's wedding since she's based overseas, here are my reviews:

Yung chocolates and mini wines, in-add ko lang, from SG inuwi ng sis ko. main favor is the personalized hangers. I found them sa bridal fair and transacted with them via FB. Mabilis ang transaction namin and on time ang delivery. Siya ang pinaka murang nahanap ko and she has these colored hangers which other don't have. So match sa motif ko. Since ang dami kong kinuha, humingi ako ng freebie at she offered naman kaya very contented ako sa outcome. Unique din siya kasi first time lang raw nila nakakita ng ganun at nag enjoy sila mag picture picture holding it.
