you're welcome hottie! i was kinda disappointed too because most of the reviews I've read are from westerners and obviously, they call El Nido Resorts as "paradise".  For us filipinos who are more exposed to beaches, El Nido Resorts look common.  I wouldn't have complained if their prices are not that high.  If you're looking for good resorts in Palawan, I would recommend Amanpulo and Club Paradise.  Club Paradise is the next best thing-- very similar to Amanpulo when it comes to the set-up and beach front (both on their own island, you have your own villa, etc).  Not as luxurious as Amanpulo, but really really good enough for the price.

I hope I didn't disappoint you from staying at El Nido Resorts (maybe you can give it a try in the future), but if it's your first time in Palawan, I wouldn't say it's your best option  ;)  Enjoy Palawan!

Sis Water and Wine, thanks for posting your pics and providing detailed information. After reading your review, I'm considering Coron. Parang ayoko na pumunta sa El Nido hehe.

Will be in PPS-El Nido on Sept 4-7.

Eto sana IT ko. Open to suggestions.  ;)

Day 1
12:30 PM - ETA PPS
1:00 PM - Lunch at Ka Lui
2:00 PM - Check in at ______ (Haven't decided where to stay for 1 night)
3:00 PM - 5:30 PM - City Tour
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM - Firefly watching
8:00 PM - Dinner

Day 2
7:00 AM - 1:00 PM- En route to El Nido
2:00 PM - Check in at Marina Garden
3:00 PM - If Taraw Cliff Climbing is not available, sana makapag tour pa kami kahit sa Helicopter Island and/or 7-Commandos beach. May nag-offer kaya nito aside from ArtCafe? Nakalagay kasi sa site sila yung 1/2 day tour starts at 1PM.
7:00 PM - Dinner

Day 3
6:00 AM - 9:00  AM - Taraw Cliff Climbing (If hindi natuloy on Day 2)
10: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM - Combined Tour A+C (Sino may kilalang nag-ooffer din nito?)
7:00 PM - Dinner

Day 4
7:00 AM - 1:00 PM - En route to PPS
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM - Lunch and Pasalubong Spree
5:30 PM - ETD

Thanks so much in advance!
I'm not lost, just undiscovered.
