^ try inviting a friend who's curious enough to give it a shot :) tell him/ her kahit 30 minutes lang it will be enough. If he's a guy, show him a pic of Adam levine or Robert Downey. Both men are very much into the practice. Pag girl, Jessica Biel shld do the trick.

anyone from here who has tried the much-publicized Anti-gravity Yoga? How did you find it?

been wanting to try yoga..i live in makati and i work a few blocks from Bikram Yoga Makati. i might try their 1week first timer package. naiintimidate lang ako kasi wala ako kakilala and wala ako mahanap na makakasabay. parang nakakahiya mag isa lalo na for first timers..

Hi gem, did you end up trying Bikram? I've been practicing in the Makati branch for about 2 mos. now. Hope to see you there!

I'm going to the FNR sesh later at Urban Ashram. And I'm posting now para kahiyaan nalang pag mag cancel ulit ako. ;-D Will post feedback later. I think there're some of us here na interesado din sa FNR. I'm excited!

Ok, here goes: Masakit katawan ko. :D

I enjoyed my first ever yoga session. I went alone, and the vibe there was really relaxed.  I guess it can be intimidating pero once you are going through the poses na, keber to everything else na. There were some parts where I felt the teacher was speaking too fast, so hinde ako makahabol, pero pwede din naman sumilip sa seatmate. :D There's also another girl who "spots" so she corrects you gently when you do the pose incorrectly. (As you can see by my post, I'm still uncomfortable using yoga terms.. baka mali!) But I'll definitely return. I cannot explain it, but I feel different. Parang mas clear yung head or something. So I guess that's good. Plus I want to get that yoga b*m. You guys should try it too. Masarap. :)

Hello!

I've been wanting to try yoga since time immemorial but im shy, kinda intimidated, wala akong kasama. Would you know of a yoga studio in QC that can accommodate beginners like me? :)

Thanks!

I've been practicing Yoga for quite sometime now. I started with Bob Harper's Yoga for The Warrior DVD. And  I fell in love with the practice since then. I'm not a sporty girl, in fact, I hate sports (lowest grade in PE in high school was 82, then in college I got 2.75 WTF right). I don't really feel tired after a yoga workout, whereas if I play any sport, I feel really dead tired after.

Then, my sister and I got lucky when dealdozen offered a coupon of 1 week unlimited yoga class in Beyond Yoga Tomas Morato. I enjoyed every bit of it. If yoga classes were more affordable for students like me, I wouldn't hesitate to go to the studio every day. :)

^Pareho tayo sis, kung mura lang sana ang sessions for us students. :)

Has anybody tried Anti-Gravity Yoga pala? May coupon sa deal dozen ngayon. Seems interesting kasi. Pero wala akong kasama.  :(

^ Anti Gravity Yoga seems to be a lot of fun! Mukhang enjoy kasi sometimes I see them practice it after namin mag yoga ng sister ko. I want to try but my sister chickened out so yeah, hindi na lang. Medyo mahal din kasi, almost 1000 for 3 sessions lang. :(

@N, if you check out Urban Ashram Manila's page, it says there that they got a 20% discount for full time students. Maybe that can help you out?
