korek sis, yan ang ginagawa ko once na magluto ako ng ampalaya yan ang nakikita ko sa nanay ko sa province.

isa ding way is, ibabad sa suka with water ang ampalaya. then bago niyo isama sa pag-gisa, medyo pigain ninyo yung ampalaya then wash it with water. hindi na ito mapait.  ;)

Pero parang di na rin masarap ang ampalaya kung walang pait taste

ako naman I do the ampalaya with suka and salt kapag gumagawa ng salad. Just mix it
with radish (labanos) na thinly sliced, onions, tomatoes, and fried dilis, paminta. Ang sarap na!

Mas maganda ba kung slice before asinan then rinse
Or yung hatiin muna sa gitna put salt then tska slice?
Ano pa pangpalasa?baka kasi di masarap luto ko minsan kasi no matter how easy parang di masarap pag ako magluto hehe

ako naman sis, di ko na binababad, pag niluluto nilalagyan ko ng konting tubig tapos yung maggi magic saraap, di naman na sya gaanong mapait.

what i always do is nagpapakulo ako ng hot water, then pour sa ampalaya with salt. Babad lang ng ilang minutes then tapon yung hot water, then banlawan ng water mga 3x with piga sa ampalaya. That's effective to lessen the pait :-)

what i do to lessen the pait is to put the sliced ampalaya in a bowl of hot water with salt. i let it stand for a couple of minutes then piga. also, choose the ampalaya well. meron amplaya na masyadong mapait, get the ones na hindi masyado maraming kulubot mild na pait lang yan.

Mom said na dapat ang bibilin na ampalaya is yung bright light green in color and malalaki yung lines.  Then i-mash sa konting salt bago lutuin, sure daw na di mapait yung ampalaya pag naluto.  Lagi namang hindi mapait ang niluluto nyang ampalaya.  :)

Me thread pala nito. I have also posted my hubby's style sa cooking tips.
Sa kanya naman, wash the ampalaya and slice lang then pag luto, never add any water. Dagdagan lang ng mantika pag gisa. halos nawawala din naman yung mantika later. He usually cooks it with tofu and egg kaya very nutritious sa akin na buntis.

Ganun din gawa ko... Ibabad ang ampalaya sa salt water, then once na ginisa, never stir. I put shrimp and tomato as well aside from egg :)

Si boyfriend super galing magluto ng ampalaya. May mild pait pero masarap. As in qko na di kumakain ng ampalaya ay napakain nya. Sya wash with salt lang tas konting piga.

I slice it thinly then babad sa water with salt sandali then pag niluluto ko di ako halo ng halo at walang cover ang pan or pot.

para di mapait ang amplaya ang ginagawa ko pagkahiwa, ibinababad ko sa tubig na may yelo (ICE) kahit di na pigain kasi mamawala ang sustansya nya kapag piniga.Tsaka ko i peprepare kamatis,sibuyas,garlic. After non start ng magisa wag halo ng halo, pag medyo nakita mo na na nagiiba na ang color ng amplaya lagay ng patis to taste, ilagay na ang egg.

Ako babad then gisa sa onion, garlic, kamatis. Then add ampalaya pag medyo luto na nilalagyan ko ng sotanghon then kikkoman and a bit of sugar. Before turning off heat i put beaten eggs :)
