How can one remove their probationary status? I've posted a lot na but still it says 2 posts with probationary status  :(

Thank you!

dont give me the answer na nagbabackread yung iba dahil aminin na natin na BIHIRA ang nagbabackread talaga!

back-reading is a must to avoid repetitive questions that have already been answered. if you do not have the patience to back-read, the "Search" button is a very good alternative. those are my two strict disciplines in forums like this: back-reading and utilizing the "Search" function.

i actually very much appreciate the moderators as what they are doing are for free. keeping up with a huge volume of users and posts is taxing to say the least. also, rules are good - they help keep the board clutter-free. some may react that they are not implemented perfectly, but come on, give them a break. imagine balancing this "moderating work" with their lives, please! we, as users, log on to GT for entertainment and leisure. they log on to GT for an additional task.

so the bottom line is: let's just all strictly follow the rules. if you have been warned or moderated, ensure that you won't do the same. i've been moderated as well and i never committed the same thing that caused me to be moderated. it's as simple as that.
Minimize redundancy in threads!
Back-read or use the "Search" function.

Pag dumami yun naapprove mo na posts sis. Post ka lang basta related at helpful naman, mawawala din yan prbationary :)

Sis meimei, no one forced the mods naman to do the job. I'm actually inclined to believe that many will be more than willing to do the job for free. :)

ang wish ko lang sinabi ng mga mods/gt kung paano bababa yung %moderated. ngayon ko lang nalaman kay sis ladychris na ganun pala. so the more you post the better? kahit dun sa mga di counted sa post na threads?

I back read dito sa thread na to because I am also trying to understand why I am being moderated. And also, yung warning sakin was all at the same day tapos biglang moderated na. I re-read the guidelines pero di ko makita san dun na violate ko. Di naman ako nag bebenta ng blog I was just showing yung make up sakin since andun yung picture. Also, marami nag sasabi na I PMd you pero naka post parin pero yung sakin na moderate and ni delete. I don't understand. Ngayon all my posts are saying di daw mag appear unless ma approve ng moderator. I agree sa inyo mga sis na sana may response button para we can ask clarifying questions or we can defend ourselves din. :(

^no. i don't think post counts have anything to do in lessening sanctions. sanctions are given by degree of the violation. ladychris was referring to a newbie's 'probationary' status.

Mga sis, I got a reply from the moderator. I was advised kasi daw sharing my blog link was a form of advertising or solicitation. Pero yun nga I was just showing my picture with make up para my fellow bride to be's can see it din and help me choose. And also di pa nasagot yun question ko na bakit yun sa sabi ko na I sent a PM to a fellow Gtalker got sanctioned din na kasama naman siya ng isang mahabang message pa about something else. Pero, I really appreciate it that someone cared enough to get back to me about it kahit pano. :)

I suppose it's common, especially in the engagement and wedding thread for some suppliers to solicit.  I got a lot of private messages when I posted that I am getting married next year.  ;)

:'( been moderated for flooding. I was replying and helping people from iPhone thread and the Mods considered it as flooding. nagrereply lang naman ako pag may question, hindi ko naman alam na may magtatanong after ko sumagot sa isang question. i was just trying to help people.  :o

now i know why may watched at moderated na. ive been gone sa gt for 2.5yrs. sa old mods kase they warn you agad sa thread.

sana nawala na rito un hindi magustuhan ang reply mo aawayin ka. hehe

oh this happened to me years and years ago. I'm back in GT again, and I hope the mods are more open to a little criticism. The last time they asked for "comments and suggestions", all hell broke loose and the thread was locked and i was given a warning. Since when did posting about honest feedback become a crime.

Anyway I hope all is changed since that was my reason why I left GT in the first place. Sad to see if this wonderful forum gets destroyed by select close-minded people.
it all starts with an open mind and acceptance

here we go again: for some reason, I am again moderated. i got these PMs saying that my signature contains advertisement or slogan for sales or something. then another about text speak. well, the latter, yes, i am guilty... it's just hard to avoid textspeak when going on mobile, since the screen is too small to verify what i have typed.

but the earlier... i think the mods should double check first what the link is for, if it really routes to sales or business, or whatsoever, or of it's just something to introduce what the blog contains. what harm does the line "Join the Guins' journey to forever with Cosa Nostra at", then the link to our blog, does? Does it suggest selling? Does it say "hey you, click me to buy!"?

Worse thing is, there is no way for one that has been moderated to explain their side. No way to reply to the message (which by the way, is obviously copied from a template...). And you will never hear (or read, for that matter) why they sanctioned your account, aside from what the template says. It will take forever before you can get your account reinstated, for something you should've been sanctioned for on the first place.

It's funny to think though, that my signature has been like that since I joined GT, have been actively posting in different threads, and it's only now that they see that.  :o I just hope there's a way for us to contact the mods, not just a one-way deal, and they get to say what they can (with their templates) and we dont. Also a mobile app would be nice, since so it would easier to review posts (and avoid text speak) when going mobile.

I thank you.

"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum! same account as muted member u8mypinkcookies. ban will expire same day as muted u8mypinkcookies. This ban is set to expire Feb 26,2013, 09:30:57am. You may continue to browse the forum as guest"

yung isa last dec. na encounter to, yung isa naman last saturday lang. pero after she deleted cookies etc. gumana na.

FYI lang pakicheck nalang po baka may bug. thanks!
