^sis, schengen visa din ang Czech Republic. If you plan to visit just London and Prague in 2 weeks, definitely okay. You can take your time to really get to see and feel the cities. Suggestion ko lang since you're going to Prague, why not concentrate on Eastern European cities instead? Then save the UK for another trip.

@mama squeak: hehe, yey schengen din pala yun! nasa bucket list ko kasi yung 2 cities na yun (london & prague) kaya gusto ko na puntahan both. i was thinking london first stop (5days), then prague (5days) and another eastern europe city (what would you suggest?). not sure when hubby will agree again to go on a trip, so im grabbing the opportunity :D

^sis, answered you on the other thread.  :)

Right now parang gusto ko sa Prague pumunta on our next Euro trip since hubby might just get 2 weeks off instead of his usual 3 weeks. We might defer our Italy and France trip when he gets a longer vacation. So I'm looking at a Prague-Vienna-Budapest tri-city tour.  :)

^^Vienna, Austria will be a re-visit for us since we've been there already. Or probably we'll do Salzburg or the Salzkammergut area instead  ::) Yup, Budapest, Hungary is also in our tentative plans. Zagreb, Croatia, it's a bit out of the way na. Maybe on our next trip......  :)

We're definitely going to Prague this September! Hubby got half of his VL approved already, just waiting for the remaining half. Hoping, praying and keeping our fingers crossed mabigay so we get 3 weeks in Europe.

We already bought our train tickets from Amsterdam to Prague. It will be an overnight train so it serves as our hotel na rin for the night. The train leaves AMS at 7PM and arrives Prague at 9AM the next day. We got a double deluxe compartment complete with shower and WC. It's going to be an exciting trip!

Need hotel or B&B recommendations please!  :)

^direct trains from Prague to Budapest is 8 hours. Better get the midnight train from Prague para pagdating mo sa Budapest you still have the whole day to explore the city. During the earlier planning stages of my IT plan din sana namin pumunta sa Budapest from Prague via Vienna. We wanted to stay longer in Budapest since it is bigger than Prague kaso limited yung time so we'll visit na lang next trip.

I'm almost half way planning our IT for Prague! We'll have 5 whole days to see the city. We'll be arriving by train from Amsterdam at 9AM. We chose a hotel near a metro stop para accessible. Has anyone experienced using their 24 hour or 3 day transport pass? Okay ba?

How about the Matilda Prague card or the Czech card? It's similar to the Paris Museum pass daw. Just wondering if it's worth to buy any of the passes. Habol lang kasi namin ni hubby yung oras na di na kami pipila ng matagal.

To the ladies who have been to the Prague Castle, how long (hours) to see the entire place? Worth it to go inside or the gardens is sufficient na? What is the best entrance to take? There are 5 access points kasi. Was wondering which is the best one to start and end the tour.

There are a couple of restaurants hubby and I would want to try, the Vytopna and  Staroceska Krcma. Any other recommendations?

Dami tanong but thanks for any feedback!  :)

Prague is one of my fave cities. Actually mas gusto kung puntahan yung mga eastern european countries. If you guys don't mind, uhmmm can you post your expenses here on GT? So I would know if reachable siya for me. :D Especially the airfare...Pero it's okay if you wouldn't but it would be nice if you would. :D

Anyway sa mga nakapunta na, how much approx. is your pocket money? For food, transpo and maybe souvenirs?

Thanks!

^Hey that's great! Maybe you can update us on your trip when you get back  :) We won't be arriving in Prague until the 25th Sep so baka may makuha pa akong tips from you.

For our 5 day stay in Prague, hubby and I budgeted around Php30,000 (roughly CZK14,000) for both of us na. That's only for food/drinks, transpo, entrance fees and one or two souvenirs lang. I don't intend on shopping since marami pa kaming pupuntahan, mabigat sa baggage  :(

Happy trip!  :)
