Yes sis, i'm breastfeeding my 2 yr old son..and 1mo preggy.. Sa bunso ko, I have no period until 9mos sya and nakakatakot, kasi I'm ovulating pa din.. May friend nga ko, 2mos plang baby nya (and she's breastfeeding) nasundan agad.  We just want 3kids lang kasi talaga..

my rule ata sa pag breastfeed para ma consider sya as Natural Birth Control. Did you ask your OB about it?

Ako ayaw pa ligate ng OB ko. Bata pa raw ako for ligation.

Isip pa kami kung ano nga ba talaga.

Sabi kasi sis 6mos exclusively breastfeeding, safe yun.. (though you're ovulating)..  Kaso yun nga, quota na din kami with my 3rd pregnancy.. Plan din kasi namin before ako mag 30.. I'm thinking of other options na din, like injectibles and pills.. Ayoko din may hiwa.scary.

mga sis na ligate na ask ko lang kung may changes sa katawan like wala ng hilig sa sex,or baka mas maaga mag menopause?or hinde ka na mag glow or pumanget ka, yan din mga considerations ko kaya ayaw ko magpaligate.
I won't mind living in a world controlled by you men as long as i am the woman in control of your world, the center of your sphere.

sis, i asked my OB bout that. kaya daw pala hindi advisable na magpaligate before 35 kasi may chances na maearly menopause..

Im planning for ligation since cs naman ako kaya lang when I mentioned this to my mom, super kontra sha. Dami daw sha kilalang nagkaron ng complications, sakit etc. after magpa-ligate. Is this true? Have to look this up and ask my OB about it.

^hi sis. Don't worry, I don't think ligation can affect your goal to breastfeed your baby. Goodluck on your delivery sis! :)

discussed ligation din with my OB pero ayaw din nya kasi i'm only turning 29 this year. too young daw for ligation, and yun nga, baka mag early menopause. i might try DMPA, pero i'll cross the bridge when i get there. plan ko din kasi mag exclusive breastfeeding sana, and hope it will work as a natural contraceptive for us. :)

Do you guys prefer bilateral tubal ligation right after normal delivery or rest muna and after a few months na? Kasi my doctor is asking around 25k for prof fee for the operation kung gagawin right after delivery pero no more additional charges kasi makikisabay na ng anesthesia sa pagpapanganak mo plus nakalibre ka na ng recovery room.
Share naman how much ang ligation charges nung sainyo? May philhealth deduction ba?

Btw sis, due to medical reasons kaya ako niligate, placenta previa kasi ako with my last pregnancy. During the CS operation, naobserve ng OB ko na traumatized na uterus ko and would be very risky if I'll get pregnant again, baka maging candidate pako for placenta accreta, kaya right there and then, she asked for our consent para maligate ako. She assured me na wala naman side effects, she herself was ligated din. Pansin ko lang parang mas malakas un monthly period ko ngayon(just had my period last month), other than that wala pa naman ako napapansin. Hth sis. :)

^hello kay hubby mo sis. Lol! Nadiscuss namin yan ni OB nun post partum checkup ko, dami nga daw myths about ligation pero not true daw. Siguro meron pa din mood swings caused by PMS. With the urge naman to the "deed", same pa din, mind set lang and a lambing from hubby can help. Bata pa naman tayo sis, I'm only 30, so same drive pa din naman tayo when it comes to THAT. Lol! :)

Edit to add: sis, ask ko lang, have you also discussed this with your OB, iba iba din kasi stand ng OB,I suggest you ask for her opinion too. :)

I know this topic is a year old na, but I'm planning to get ligated after giving birth to my 3rd this July. My OB said, ligation na after giving birth so that the anesthesia is the same lang. I just need to transfer from the birthing room to the OR.

For those who got ligated right after giving birth, what was your experience? I have a pretty high tolerance for pain pero I'm a bit worried. Hehe! :)
