Hi, you might want to talk to your company's HR na lang. Yung resignation procedure kasi depende sa company talaga kung papano.

Di ko sure kung anung mangyayari sa 13th month pay mo..

Now about the sick leaves and paternity leaves, pati yung Philhealth, Pagibig and SSS, I think meron sa labor code nyan. I suggest you take time reading it. :)

I hope this helps :)

yup nag ask na ako.. about  how to apply for resignation... 1 month clearance after filing... hindi ko pa na tackle regarding sa mga deduction na hindi naman nila pinorward sa dapat kalagyan... hindi ako sure if aware sila na alam ko or something... basta parang confident sila na lahat bayad :D

if ever baka maghabulan pa kami sa labor nyan if ever na may mistakes sila...

anyway, thanks sa reply...

best time to resign? Kapag ang company mo ay nabili tapos after 7 months wala pa ding security ang kinabukasan ninyo.

the best time? good question...ako feeling ko firing bells is just around the corner i might as well make the right decision to quit first..

don't know if it's paranoia but i feel left out & not trusted anymore...what's frustrating is i can't remember doing anything to earned this treatment. My extra allowance on seniority was suddenly taken back but i let it passed that up. I am being passed up for someone new na...she's the go-to girl now of my boss..this,i let it slide again since she's also responsible with her work though sometimes not sensitive to fellow workers feelings. Then another responsibility was taken out from me without any notification @ all. Just in-your face announcement during an emergency company meeting...i feel every actions i make is being weigh-in as like..am i contributing enough?....and now every little details stresses me out na as if anytime they're gonna say.."can't you take all the hints???"

sucks!why i'm still here? in this tough times its not that easy to just resign without any back-up to fall back to while looking for other options. Bills are still gonna stay and i'm footing them mostly...sad, but this is my story... :(

and i'm just hoping i'll get through this....

we're on the same boat sis...i don't think they'll gonna fire me naman but since i'm no longer trusted with all the things i've been doing before and working with my bosses is no longer harmonious like before, got comments that i'm tamad na daw...hayyy if i can only share all the things happened...anyway, i'm now busy sending cv's...and i know God cares for me so i'm surrendering all my worries to HIM.
GOD will operate but you must cooperate.

It is not enough to have a good mind, the main thing is to use it well...

^ you too sis? i can feel your frustrations  because i'm in that exact spot right now. just last week a product seminar was held in our area and sales personnel are only the ones supposed to be there...imagine my surprise when she get picked up to attend even its not her position to go, well partly she urged the host to call the boss that she get to go and  since she's the apple of the eye,she got her wish!

and i got the feeling she's getting the extra that was taken away from me and topping it all we met above the quota this month and even the slightest appreciation would somehow compensate the sales team's hard work , i got instead a snide comment from another head that we can't claimed the sales as ours since its an existing account already. question is if we/i didn't do our/my work right, will the account stay with us? hayyy...that really was a downer!

i'm thinking now of starting my cushioned income source..... with God's help i can bear a little more then i call it quits!

...I was afraid to get hurt,
       to be rejected again
          but there i landed
           & don't know how
                to stop the pain...

people leave people. mostly it's because they could no longer stand their boss. second, the people aren't supportive. people resign from work but better paying job isn't the top reason. people leave people.

the best time to resign? when you are no longer happy going to work. when you are not getting what you should rightfully get. when you could no longer give your best. no amount of motivation, reward, and compensation could make you stay.

geminitalks Oo sis, natutunan ko din yun.. We cant work good pag dere deretso. We need a break kahit ilang days lang.. Para marefresh tayo, physically, emotionally and spiritually..
It's like we're going to make ourselves empty mula sa work and even sa mga relationships or any other things before we could really accept or received a new one..

Enjoy na lang muna ang pagiging single Sis.. Hehe..
Wala ko alam na legit online jobs.. Puro mga pay per click nakikita ko na nisusuggest..
Basta goodluck sa ating lahat..  :) ;)

Just want to chime in my sentiments from an article i read,

"I agree that you shouldn’t tolerate being unhappy with what you do. The best way to combat this unhappiness, however, is not to drop everything and start from scratch, but instead to become good at something valuable, then take this value out for a spin."

We hear lots of "success stories" - of people quitting their day jobs to pursue their passions and being happy but the harsh reality is that for every success story out there, there are countless "failure stories" of people who now have to work twice as hard and longer than their previous jobs only to earn less than before and with less benefits...

Really think this decision through first.

I started this thread and I hate to share my story today pero I think kapupulutan naman ito ng aral.

I resigned last July to pursue a homebased job. Well, I just wanted to be with my son 24/7 and naisip ko me talent naman ako and skill to land a job easily(homebased). Ayun nga, nagresign ako. I risked my regular job with all it's freebies and benefits + high salary. Don't get me wrong ha, nagresearch muna ako bout homebased job lalo na bout Odesk, freelancer, vworker etc...lahat yan nag sign up. me mga exams ako kinuha sa Odesk and vworker para sure ako na I could compete kahit newbies ako. Meron din akong savings...Well, sad to say until now ala pa din akong work na nakuha puro sad experience lang and failure.

Happy naman ako with my son kasi healthy sya tapos start na sya makipagcommunicate at magsalita ng maayos pero yung finncial aspect sadsad na as in ubos na.

So ayun, sa mga magreresign make sure me back up plan kayo not just one pero make sure me fall back kayo and tama si sis anachanel hindi lahat me success stories kasi in reality mahirap makipagsapalaran pag resign ka na and end up wondering "what if hindi ako nagresign?"

goodluck satin lahat and keep sharing stories. sana makita na natin hinahanap natin and hope everything turns ok na for all of us.
Reach for the star.

i agree. i just started with my new job and i actually kinda like it even if it's sooooo tiring. but i'm starting to see the real the attitude of my manager and i'm not liking it! actually lahat ng employees doesn't like her. may attitude problem. tsk,tsk,tsk.. maliit lang salary but i can deal with that it's the people i work with that matters kasi.

There is no "best time" to resign coz unless you're not good at your job nobody would want you to leave!

the best time is when you think you're not growing anymore! just like a relationship!

now the question is, when's the "best time" to give your letter to your boss!  ;D

@ sis clumsish: thanks sa advise and everyone sharing their thoughts with regards to the best time to quit..yep, it's really a scary decision 'coz the possibilities of getting into a new job right away is very slim, what with the many jobless people around and the newly grads lining up every year...

..so, pataasan muna nang pasensiya hanggang hindi pa sinisipa! aray naman...this is sad reality!

sis! good question....when nga ba?

Thanks for sharing your stories mga sis. I wanna share to you my story. I'm currently working right now as a Call Center Agent, although I didn't expect na I will be hired by this company I'm currently doing my best. I'm not complaining about the salary basic lang naman yung sa akin since first job ko eto. First few months gusto ko na mag resign kasi nakaka stress and nakaka pressure but then nakayanan ko naman. As of these moment wala talaga akong balak mag resign kaya lang ang nakakatakot kasi naka Written Warning na ako, I mean kami kasi di namin ma meet ang mga quota na namin. So palagay niyo dapat ba akong mag resign na? Ang back up plan ko pag mag resign ako ay mag vovolunteer ako btw I'm a nurse kasi.  iyon nga lang walang sahod.

@ sis g-shock depende sis kung anong mas importante sayo... salary or career? if career, mag resign ka na :D at kung di mo na talaga kaya matiis boss mo.. try searching na din..

as for me, im currently in the verge of resigning.... ok naman salary, benefits, managers, pero bakit ganito pa din feeling ko.. siguro dahil feeling ko walang magandang opportunity binibigay sakin at hindi challenging ang job/task ko ngayon  :-\
don't expect to avoid disappointment :)
