Just came back from talipanan, puerto galera and i must say that if you want the most serene and private place in puerto galera, then this is the place to be! :)

Pauwi, we rode Ceres bus P161.50 to Mantrade (MRT Magallanes Station)..All went well naman dito..

PORT: ang dami ng tao.. i suggest bili na kayo ng ticket then pila na agad sa pasukan..

BOAT: DO NOT RIDE FATHER AND SONS SHIPPING LINES (FSL)! super bagal..parang hindi ata 1 hour ang boat ride namin parang 2.5-3 hours! super bagal ng boat sa pagandar.. then nung papunta pa lang kami parang 1.5 hours kaming naghintay bago umalis.. i suggest you ride Minolo or Galerian na lang.. sobrang nabadtrip kami ng mga friends ko.. halos lahat ng mga kasabay naming boat sa pier nakaalis na..kami na lang ang hindi..

PLACE: we stayed at el canonero.. got the superior room at P2500 for 5 persosns..sabi ni giorgio (owner) fully booked na daw yung place..but hindi ko nafeel na fully booked! lagi naming solo yung pool..kung may ibang tao man, 2-3 lang yung nadadagdag.. cons: super liit ng cr,  then yung bowl parang may permanent dirt na..di rin masyado lumalamig yung aircon.. and yung flush namin nasira hehe.. yung kabilang room naman, mabagal ang tubig, pero samen super lakas naman.. extremes.pero super private ng place..talagang ibang iba sa white beach parang kami lang yung andun.. and yung pool okay para sa amin.. solo namin siya..tapos walang restrictions.. you can wear shirt, you can dive hahaha mabait din pala si giorgio, the owner.. 12:30 pm na (check-out is 12:0nn), dumating na yung next visitor, kakarating lang namin from white beach, hindi pa kami nakakaligo and prepare at all.. pero nakasmile pa rin siya habang sinasabing bilisan namin dahil kailangan na naming umalis dun sa room hahaha

FOOD: masarap yung pizza sa luca's.. iba yung crust nya.. parang yung texture ng croissant..not-just-your-ordinary pizza..ang laki pa! hahaha 8 kaming magkakasama, merienda na namin yung 2 pizzas.. P790 yung bill namin.. yung pasta naman..so-so lang.. parang natikman ko na din dito sa manila hehe yung pizza lang yung unique talaga :) Sa white beach kami naglunch.. winner ang VM Resort na restaurant.. ang laki ng servings at a price of 100-120 lang with rice na yun! yung ulam sa VM can be shared by 2 na..tapos hindi lang siya marami, lahat ng ulam na naorder namin, masasarap.. pineapple chicken, beef curry, pork sinigang, fish curry, sweet and sour fish, liempo.. lahat kami nasarapan sa inorder naming ulam :)

TRICYCLE: white beach to talipanan is P100/tricycle 4 pax ang max.. nung pauwi na kami P150 ang chinarge sa amin.. tsk!

PASALUBONG: got a shirt at P90 and a ref magnet at P35 (3 for 100)

P.S.. Sis Chyng, PHP 280 yung penne carbonara sa Luca's. you can update your blog if you like :) Thanks sa help! :)

malayo ba ang amihan villa sa talipanan beach? balak ko kasi one night we'll stay sa talipanan to enjoy the beach, then 2nd night naman, chill lang sa amihan villa... what beachfront hotel can you recommend?

and we're planning to go there in october, mas ok ba na we go there without reserving online? since off peak season yun, mas makakatipid kami noh? tia!

Saw this from PEX and at that time (april 2011;peak season;summer) it was the cheapest we could find. I noticed that the quotation given varied. The plan was for 10 of us college blockmates to go, but a week before the trip, only 5 cancelled. Our rates became a little higher, but still cheaper than the rest we've researched.

Inclusion: back and forth ferry ride, environmental fees, terminal fee, shuttle service, and room accommodation
