Author Topic: Mending your leggings--runs, holes and rips (Read 918 times)

I've grown to love wearing leggings because it's a flexible fashion clothing. You can wear it with a short dress, a long shirt or even with boots. The problem is, I always have to replace my leggings and buy new ones because they tend to run and get ugly holes in them...

I've tried wearing thick leggings like the ones sold in bench and looser ones so they don't stretch the fabric out and make it prone to running but I still end up with the same problem--unwanted runs, holes and rips when I wear them (not when I'm washing them). It's getting really frustrating and draining for my wallet to have to buy one after just a few weeks.

Any tips from my fellow legging lovers? Is there a good brand that's more durable and long-wearing against rips? What do you do when your leggings get a rule or a hole in public?

ako pag ganyan, i just throw and buy a new one lalo na pag hassle pa irepair.

i do the same. mas hassle pa kasi mag repair and i am the epitome of an undomestic goddess! lol

but i rarely encounter naman getting runs or holes in my leggings and some of mine are divisoria bought. i also get stuff from bench and landmark, same thing.. the most problem i encounter is when the crotch part na breaks apart.. but that's only from too much washing and wearing. when it happens i just throw it out.

What I do minsan sa hole pinapatahi ko kay yaya! haha mahilig kasi mag ganun ganun yun kaya sakanya ko pinapagawa. yung run wala na talaga ko nagagawa tinataposn ko na, pero holes and rips pwde pa remedy don.
