we celebrated our daughter's first birthday last September. sabi namin we won't have it catered nalang para mas makamura chaka para di narin problema yung venue. turned out our budget from 60k ballooned to 100k+  :o to think na sa max's restaurant nalang namin ginawa. kaloka talaga! since we're based in singapore, puro online transactions lang and utos lang from relatives ginawa ko. the party turned out well naman although it could have been better if i did the organization myself and i think mas makakapamili ako and makakamura. anyway, it was still a memorable day for our family. sakit nga lang sa bulsa! ::)

sabi ko balik ako sa thread na ito kapag finalized ko na budget for my baby's bday on Feb 2..

anyways from 160K original, naging 270k ang nasa excel ko pero dahil over budget na yan masyado, nag tanggal ako ng ilan nice to haves.. and ngayon final is around 220k :) hanggang dun nalang talaga.

I will update once again with suppliers pag tapos na bday ni baby.

LOL!

for my wedding, kinaya ko na 300k lang lahat. for my daughter's dedication, nasa 25k lang. ngayon na party nya, i think we will spend 35k lang. although to be fair, medyo marami din kayong guests. hindi talaga keri sa amin ang 100 guests kasi konti lang family namin :)

Yes sis.. mahirap talaga.. pinag isipan din namin mabuti kung anong klaseng party ba talaga gusto namin for her... Magastos na talaga magpa party ngayon. Yung ibang kilala ko e they can spend even half a million for a 1st birthday alone. Case to case basis din talaga. :)

Happy ako sa naging decision namin and im very positive sa magiging outcome ng party ng baby namin.

i think nakakalula nga mga expenses naten sa birthdays ng mga kids.. Isa lang anak ko he's turning 7 this january..I admit nagsplurge ako. Masaya lagi anak ko..I think deserve naman ng mga kids kung ano bibigay naten mapa mahal or hindi...My son deserves a birthday party kase among 150 kids he graduated as 1st honor.

My daughter's 1st birthday is on jan.13 pa.. invitations na lang ang kulang.. though ayoko magspend ng mahal dito dahil itatapon lang din naman ng iba.. So far eto na ang break down..

1.Caterer - Tamayo's (610/adult, 350/kids) We have 170 adults- 60 kids. pero sponsored ni MIL. Thank God!! :)

2.Venue - Felizza Jazz Grand Pavillion in Malolos Bulacan. (13k +1500/hr ng aircon)

3.Party Planner- Ms.Aileen of Pink n Peach

Venue set-up - 38k
Host n Magician - Roschelle and Arcturus Catbagan - 15k. Fully booked na kasi yung iba.
Mascots - Hello kitty and My Melody - 6k + 500 transpo
Bubble show - 4k
Foodcarts
  hotdog- 2500
  fries - 2500
  FIC - 7,200

4. Photo - Luxe Photography - 7500 +1500 oot charge +1500 gas/toll??
5. Video - Litrato Yan - 7k
6. Sanrio Dessert Buffet Set-up -Sweet Creations by Mums 12k+ 2k transpo
7. Cake - Sweet Creations By Mums- 4k
8. Souvenirs for adults- hello kitty cake pops -25/ea
9. Souvenirs for kids - mini stools from Handicrafts atbp 85/ea
10. Prizes - divi,toy kingdom,duty free

Actually malaki na talaga gastos namin pero compared sa iba mababa pa din siya. hehe.. I never had a party when I was a kid kaya iyan lang lagi yung iniisip ko if i want to add pa other things sa party.hehe.. And laging sinasabi ng Dad ko na kailngan magtipid kasi giyera na, ang lagi kong sagot is " Kaya nga kung giyera na, atleast maranasan manlang natin ito." hahaha.. At saka ang susunod naman is 7th birthday na.. so keri lang..

Goodluck sa parties natin mommies!!  :)
