Hindi ako nasingil ng tax before, i just paid 40php when the item was delivered sa bahay :)

How much ba sa Rustans?

TIA!

you can get an idea of how much it would cost sa ebay.com. palitan mo nalang ng .ph yung extension para maconvert sa php agad yung amount :) i bought mine doon.

I have been using my braun epilator for more than 10 yrs! It has been old but very reliable. Sometimes when I wax the hair doesnt completely come off, i get a little help from epilator.

I noticed that the skin is softer with wax  vs epilator problem lang you have to let the hair grow when you want to wax.

The idea of hair removal of waxing and epilating is the same and it will lessen the growth of hair eventually (matagal) pero atleast unlike shaving it doesnt get the hair to be thicker and coarser.

for me sis, yes. wala naman ako chicken skin, very minimal halos hindi nkakapa or nakikita. been waxing and epilating, hindi naman nagkakaroon at all.

if nakakatulong sya to remove it, testimonials say it does:

marami pa videos na ganyan at youtube sis. pati reviews at makeupalley.

i'm doing pre-orders for epilator (both Braun & emjoi) if you girls are interested PM me nalang.

anyway, I like Braun kasi it actually picks it flat lying hair. i bring emjoi naman when travelling para hindi hassle sa customs/packing etc etc. kaso it takes longer to do the job kasi it's tiny nga. not to mention that it runs on dry cell AA's.

how do you epilate with braun nga pala to be able to pick the flat lying hair?

^ i find Braun better at plucking the hair out than *my Emjoi. I also use the pre-epilating lotion with Braun and Emjoi, still misses a bit. either way siya parin dala ko while traveling haha.

i use pre-epilating lotion, it gives me closer epilation without tugging the skin. kaya it can pick up flat lying hair.

^ check mo yung specs sis. braun epilators have autovolt feature. it can be plugged both sa 110v and 220v. yung emjoi ata requires voltage regulator, i asked an ebay seller before if autovolt din yun, hindi daw :).

Hi everyone, just wanted to share my opinion about epilating and waxing.
For reference, my hairs are fine and light. And I'm talking about the hairs sa arms.

I use emjoi, the one for upper-lip, the one with a light pastel-green color.
Epilating definitely hurts so much more. Because laging nagbalik ako sa area kpag hindi nakuha yung hairs. On my part rin, na.cut yung some hairs, at nakuha nman yung iba. Talagang red at bumpy yung skin ko afterwards. But if it subsides already, it looks really clean and smooth. :)
I got addicted to the extent na it doesn't hurt anymore when I epilate. Then I noticed merong ingrowns na sa arms ko. :( :( I got so upset. I dug them out with tweezers and ended up with red spots and some even scarred/hyperpigmented. :( so I don't do this often na..

Yung waxing nman, I sugar wax. Yung strip-it wax yung ginamit ko. I really like the aftereffects, smooth nman, less redness, no bumps, less pain. I just don't like waiting for my hair to grow back again. I don't like looking at the tiny hairs growing. :( And some of my hair is too fine to be pulled out by the wax.. (sigh)

So I now use both in a combo. :) I alternate one after the other. :)

^ hi sis, ganyan din ako. It was just now, literally now talaga, that i learned how to epilate properly. I often get stubbles from epilating kasi napuputol yung hair sa when i caress my skin, i feel a few hairs na maliliit.

so what i did was i followed the concept of waxing. diba when you wax, you pull towards on the opposite direction ng hair growth? yes, that's what I did while epilating a while ago sa legs ko, na medyo iba iba yung direction so sinunod ko sya, i ran the epilator against the direction ng hair growth, and  sort of pressed the epilator sa skin ko talaga, to make sure it'll grasp yung part ng hair closest sa skin and it did wonders. i was so impressed sa result na i can't feel yung hair na parang naputol.. i also trimmed my leg hair a bit so that the epilator can grasp the hair properly. i'm so happy, sobrang kinis talaga when i caress it and ang linis linis tingnan.
