Wearing authentic crystals for good luck

I started collecting gemstones too. I have Moss Agate, Jade, Citrine, Ametrine, Ruby, Moonstone and Aqua.

I wear at least 2 gems a day.

I'ts my first time to try crystal bracelets. And since I don't have much knowledge, bago ako bumili nung mga mahal, I tried something na mura lang. Ngayon lang ako nagkaron ng time na magresearch about crystals.
Last week, nagpunta ako ng starmall las pinas. I happen to pass by a stall na may crystal bracelets. tapos pagkatingin ko 80 pesos lang. bigla ako napaisip. kasi alam ko usually nasa 500 plus yung mga ganun. then tinanong ko yung tindera, sabi ko ano pinagkaiba nun or kung bakit sa kanya 80 lang pero sa iba 500 plus. sabi ng tindera, tunay daw na bato yun. parepareho lang naman daw na tunay na bato yung mga binebenta. depende na nga lang daw kung magkano ipe-presyo.
then after a week naisipan ko bumili. just to try. since it's just 80 pesos. sabi nung tindera para icleanse and energize ibalot lang daw sa tela then itapat sa running water habang sinasabi or iniisip na yung negative na energy eh mawala. then ibilad daw sa morning sun, between 9-11am. gagawin daw yun once a week. pag lampas 11am daw kasi, negative energy na daw yun.

nagtaka lang ako kasi ang morning sun, alam ko, is 6 to 9 am. or does the time even matter? and may nabasa ako online na wag daw gagamit ng tap water kasi puro chemicals daw yun.

Hi Sis.
If a supposedly crystal bracelet is 80 pesos only then I am inclined to think that it's a fake. You can tell naman by the weight, if it's cool then turns warm after a while when you hold it or use it, if you rub it against your teeth it feels grainy. Sa totoo lang ang isang maliit na tumbled stone mas mahal pa sa 80 pesos. But it's ok at least it's only 80 pesos. Stay away from the tiangge sa tabi tabi go to reputable crystal sellers.

I don't think time of day matters when cleansing crystals. You may use water  or water with salt or you may smudge/smoke it (using incense). It's the same lang. Good luck Sis.

^of course, puede.  you can even learn to do it yourself.  My sister taught my yaya & cleaner how to do  it.

Amethysts fade due to exposure to sunlight.
   Namuti?   What crystal is that? Baka not authentic, the artificial coloration wore off.

Citrine - when it absorbs too much negative energy already -- becomes dull or dark brown, but does not lose all color  -- to the extent  mamuti. 

If namuti - discard.

If just lost a little color - just cleanse your preferred way, and continue using. 

I am not an expert -- the above are what I have learned from friends who are longtime crystal experts.

yung napigtal is black onyx.
yung sort of namuti, parang super light pink na, rose quartz (mukhang na-stress na ang RQ ko saken  )

di ako marunong magtingin gaano ng crystals if authentic or not. ang naaalala ko lang to look for ay kung malamig hehe. I only have black onyx, RQ, amethyst, sapphire. yun RQ ko before had cracks yun ibang bead, pinalitan lang yung may crack. ngyon naglighten nga parang namumuti sa paningin ko, i'm not sure if ano sign kung to discard na ba or not. di na ko nakabalik sa binilan ko

RQ shouldnt change its color? i asked pnaman before sa binilan ko why nagchange color, di pa sha ganto ka light, kase daw nagkaka coneection na kme nun bracelet.

yung RQ ko parang nag change ng color every time i wear it or sometimes when its cold or nasa box lang sha. minsan light minsan pink na pink. pero it doesnt fade naman.

my hubby told me na like niya bumili ng crystal para pampa swerte kaya im doing a research about it...

hindi ko ma gets iyong "you will feel it" so wala ka dapat na crystal in mind? pag punta mo sa shop mararamdaman mo kung ano need mo bilhin?

Wow, it's been several months since I purchased my first crystals. My first bracelet, which I've worn most often, now has faded or blurry crystals (citrine and rose quartz). The amethysts have turned just slightly darker, the brown tourmalines same pa rin. Na-overwork ata yung crystals sa akin. I think I'll have to replace them soon. What do you guys do when you stop using a crystal? Tinatapon lang sa trash or do you recycle them as.. let's say a part of home decor?

I have accumulated a few more specimens over the months, yung iba tumbled stones, yung iba as jewelry or accessories. Pero notable na one of the favorites I have acquired ay yung rosary made of hematite. I've since purchased a few more and placed them in key locations, sometimes kasama ang rose crystal, citrine, and clear quartz.

 i have 3 crystal bracelets- rose quartz, green rutilated and black onyx. nabili ko yung rutilated around 2008 sabi nung seller since its's not my year ( year of the dog ako) i should wear this on my left wrist. the next year bumalik uli ako she said not so good year daw for dogs so she made me wear rose quartz and black onyx for protection on my left wrist. hindi na ako nakabalik sa kanya pero plan ko uli bumili. medyo pricey lang pero mukha good quality ang crystals nya. chinese sya na may store sa divisoria mall, nirecommend lang ng client namen yun.tinanong ko sya kung okay ba na iba-ibang crystal sa isang bracelet sabi nya hihina daw ng power, mas okay kung isa lang klase. last week sinuot ko uli ng rutilated ko, that time sobrang nadedepress ako sa work. overnight ko sya suot come morning ang gaan ng pakiramdam ko. then i took a shower so tinangal ko muna nung isunuot ko uli parang namamanhid na yung arm ko. sinuot ko din yung rose quartz at black onyx ganun din parang may mabigat at nangangalay yung arm ko.

When I was a kid, my mom's gay officemate (whose third eye is super-dilat) handed me a small chunk of amethyst and told me to keep it with me day and night. Kailangan ko daw yun. Tinanong ko sya kung bakit, nginitian lang ako. (Frustrating!!)

Anyway, nung hinawakan ko yung bato, it felt very right in my hand. Mejo corny pero may naramdaman akong "surge". Baka inimagine ko lang. hehe Pero minahal ko na siya since then. I still have the small chunk til now. I started sleeping with a string of amethyst beads next to my pillow, talaga naman, sarap ng tulog ko.

Meron din akong tiger's eye, turquoise, onyx. Nga lang, di ako sure kung fake yung onyx beads. hehe
For some reason, I find rose quartz repellant. I think it's pretty, it's just something I can't imagine wearing.
