hello sis!

Mga mommies, im here aain for some few questions:

1. kapag bikini ba, maiipit sya ng belly natin, after the surgery? kasi syempre mababawasan ng laman yun tyan natin di ba?
2. ilang araw po kayo nagstay sa hospital?
3. nakapaglakad na ba agad kayo after ng operation? or mga ilang days pa?
5. gaano kahaba yun hiwa ng bikini cut niyo?

Here's my experience:
1. Hindi naman naipit bikini cut ko. I worked out around 4-5 months after giving birth para di naman masyadong malaki ang tummy. My ob also does a little bit of tummy tuck on me kasi nga may excess skin na tayo after being pregnant.

2. When I had my boys, I stayed for around 4 nights coz they were circumcised and I wanted to go home sabay with my babies. But with my girl, 2 nights lang ako sa hospital.

3. 24 hours after the operation, when my catheter was removed, I forced myself to walk na. Medyo awkward but it gets better after 3 days.

4. I didn't feel anything at all when I had my cut. Kakatakot kaya if ma-feel mo yun. I was asleep the whole operation. Though, I felt the needle when they injected anesthesia on my back. ;)

5. First pregnancy, about 3inches lang cut, then pahaba na ng pahaba everytime ma- CS ako

Good luck sis Jenskie! Congrats in advance. Lapit na!

Invest on a good binder pala. And wear that everyday day and night for the first month. It'll help you walk and kahit papano trim tummy. When I didn't have my binder, feeling ko nag ji-jiggle buong laman-loob ko when I move ;)

* that's normal sis, parang wala pa yung sense of balance mo, kasi nga for 9 months may bump ka sang binubuhat.

* yung OB ko dati, dapat daw pag 2nd day, nakaka-bangon na at 3rd day -- dapat nakakalakad na.

* pag tumatayo, dapat may alalay pa, or kung solo mo lang, dapat kung paano ka bumangon nung buntis ka pa [coming from the side arm ang support] dahil hindi pa fully healed yung sugat

* dapat for a month, BAWAL magbuhat ng mabibigat, kasi daw, pwedeng sa surface healed na, pero sa loob, hindi pa gaano.

* ni-recommend din ng OB ko na, i can use the binder for 3-4 weeks para added support, kasi medyo on the "heavy side" ako.

Actually even if this is my 4th pregnancy, kinakabahan pa rin akong ma-CS... hehe... Naiisip ko yung mga needles na iinject sa kin...eww... ang pinakamahirap sa akin is the next day na kailangan I have to stand up na. But once I pass that, everything is good na. I also use adult diaper, para pag mag weewee, I don't need to get up na.

sis jesrora: try mo tighten a bit binder mo para may support ka talaga. First 3 weeks ko, I was using the katcha binder. Nakahiga ako whenever our househelp puts on my binder and I tell her to tighten it. After that I used the regular rubber binder pang-workout, but I put lampin first before the rubber binder para di yung rubber agad ang nakalapat sa tummy ko. HTH.

Sa experience ko rin, my tummy became very very sensitive for weeks whenever I wipe it with towel.

^ bikini cut ako sis. but I think same lang ang experience whatever cut you have.

For me, yun lang talaga ang biggest challenge sa CS recovery ko--- yung getting up after the operation. I had to call a nurse to assist me. Kailangan talaga dahan-dahan, just like how you get up when you were pregnant. like what sis ebiko said, Sideview muna then sit down with the support of your arms.

Since you are also recovering from CS operation, it would be best if you have someone to assist you with the baby. I really am thankful for my mom for being with me. She stays with us for about 2 weeks, kalamay ko sa mga sleepless nights. She also bathes baby and wakes up early to sunbathe them. She tells me to sleep and rest sa daytime, siya muna bahala kay baby.

I used a So-En binder lang and it helped a lot I think plus the fact na I exclusively breastfeed my daughter.

^^ sis, check out this topic. All about binders after pregnancy

http://www.femalenetwork.com/girltalk/index.php?topic=215679.0

I use the binder of my sis-in-law pa which was given to her when she gave birth via CS sa cardinal or makati med (not sure which one). But after about 3 wks, I change binders and use the brand LP (color black). I also used the brand Persona, but I like LP better, mas durable for me. If bikini cut, make sure the edge of the binder won't hit the sugat. That happened to me before, na-irritate yung sugat ko.

actually sis kahit anong binder naman ang gamitin mo ok lang.  ang importante lang is that you use it all the time especially during the first weeks after giving birth.

around 8pm until midnight pahilab hilab yung tummy ko pero sobrang tolerable for me.

November 24, 5am naramdaman ko na naweeweewee nako, pagdating ni hubby (since 4am ang end ng shift nya) i asked him kung basa yung shorts ko kase feeling ko may nag le-leak. sabi nya wala naman daw, umihi na daw ako kase baka ihi lang yun... pag tayo ko ng kama, may konting liquid na lumabas and nabasa yung underwear ko. pagdating ko ng cr, (as in kasasara ko pa lang ng pinto) bigla na nagleak yung water where in kasabay din yung weewee... i asked my hubby to get me another underwear and shorts pero pag suot ko may umagos nanaman. thats the time i asked him to bring to the hospital na.

Nov 24, 6:45 i was admitted, 2-3 cm dilated pero mataas pa daw si baby. nag labor ako until around 8pm. 3pm 3-4 cm lang ako. 5pm same padin 3-4 cm pero nahawakan na ni doc yung head ni baby. she also explained na dapat within 12 hours since water bag broke mailabas na si baby otherwise matutuyuan daw ng amiotic fluid.

Nov 24, 8pm same lang ang sitwasyon ko thats why we decided to have CS na. nag chill ako habang tinatahi ako but other than that, wala nako ibang naramdaman.

Nov 27 6pm nakalabas na kame ng hospital.
