hi sis! i flew pa to new zealand when i was 28 weeks pregnant. that's 14 hours long... fortunately my brother works in singapore airlines and was able to give me a whole row, all to myself. you need leg room kasi. just bring lang a permit to fly slip from your doctor. try to relax while on the plane. have a lovely trip! :)

I'm 6 weeks pregnant now. Na-stress ako bigla nung naalala ko yung trip namin to Boracay sa July. I'll be 17 weeks pregnant by then. It is good to know that it is safe to travel by air kahit pregnant, kausapin ko na lang OB ko about it.

^Hopefully by that time sana sis wala ng masyadong delayed flights para you'll be comfy during your travel. Bring first aid meds din like duvadilan :)

i traveled for 2hrs by air to Sydney on my 13th to 14th week. Good thing hindi ako maselan so the whole trip including the 3day walk-athon is all good.

We chose hotel na convenient for commuter or malapit sa pasyalan. our itenerary is free and easy para we only walk on our own phase and stop and rest anytime I fee like it.  while strolling, i made sure I have stock of snacks (bread, candies, nuts), water and a spare comfy slippers.

On my 28th week, I'm planning to travel from Au back to Philippines (for 16hrs) by myself for my baby's delivery. Based on the feedback here, I opted to book Singapore air with assistance.

My OB is willing to give me clearance etc up to 32 weeks only although Singapore Air will accept up to 35 or 36 weeks. Mataas na kasi ang risk of pre-term labor habang pinapatagal. Pero mas pinili ko mas maaga pa (28weeks) para hindi pa required ang OB's clearance. Delivering here is NOT an option kasi after researching na super mahal manganak dito pag hindi resident esp pre-term. The money sana can be alloted for our baby and not for the hospital bills in $.

I'm not naman being paranoid. But it's better to be aware of these factors before planning a trip.

Ako dahil low lying placenta at @19 weeks sinabihan ni ob na avoid muna air travel, kasi may mga sharp pains pa akong nararamdaman.. Kakapanghinayang nga low weekend pa naman kami ngayon sarap sana magtravel..

Ako naman I traveled when I was 5 weeks pregnant from SG to Bali. Morning of our Bali trip ko nalaman na preggers ako kase nag-PT ako. Medyo natangkot ako mag-travel pero sayang naman yung tickets at hotel kaya tumuloy nalang kame.

Second travel ko was 12 weeks pregnant, SG to PH for a one week vacation. Cebu Pac kame tapos since preggy ako nilagay ako sa first seat kasama si hubby sa tabi ko. Comfy seat at hindi kame nag-bayad. Tapos buti I have a letter from my OB na safe to travel.

Third flight will be this Sept. 8 at 33 weeks to give birth sa Pinas. PAL gamit namin kase yun nag-aallow mag travel up to 35 weeks. May EMIS form that needs to be filled-out by the OB tapos fax to PAL office here sa SG then letter na safe to travel.

Flying to Paris soon. I'll be 10 weeks pregnant. On our return flight naman, I'll be 14 weeks. Air France doesn't require medical clearance til 36 weeks naman but I got a note from my OB just in case.

^sis ang alam ko kasi up til 7 months lang ang inaallow mag travel by plane kasi high risk to pre term labor the more mataas na ang weeks. ang mas mabuti pa, better ask your doctor about this one. but according to my friend who works in an airline..until 32 weeks max ang pinapayagan nila.

ako man, magtatanong na lang din sa doctor ko pero im praying na katulad ng ibang preggy moms..makapag landing tayo ng safe at strong pa rin kapit ni baby inside.

I tried travelling by air on my 35th week, intnl flight for 18 hrs.. Up to 30-32 wks i think is allowed but i really need to go home bec i had to give birth here in the phil.. My OB there wrote on my medical cert that i was only on my 30th...it really wasnt obvioused bec im petite and my tummy wasnt that big, i just wore black maternity dress when i took my flight..

When i was there on the plane i realized why they dont allow preg women to travel beyond their 32nd wk..my god, i really had contractions, i was sitting near the comfort room so it wasnt really diffucult for me..but sitting for 18 hrs?! I was really praying hard not to deliver on the plane bec i delivered my 1st baby via cs, and i dont want to be on the headlines the ff day..thank god, i arrived safely, though my OB here prescribed duphaston for me bec of preterm labor..i gave birth 3wks after via cs.. Praise god! :)

Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts. I called my OB yesterday and he told me it’s still safe for me to travel on my 31st week. And told me he’ll give the certification I need. BTW, Seoul to Manila is just a 4-hour flight. Praying for a safe flight^^
Im on a happy diet.

kinakabahan din ako bumyahe from abu dhabi to manila..kasi nabalitaan ko yung kabayan natin na nag labor sa plane on her 28 weeks via emirates (dubai-manila). eh ako uuwi din ng ganong week at balak ko sana tumawad ng ilang araw pa. im waiting for my doctors que at sana payagan niya ako mag travel kahit hihingi ako ng kaunting allowance. sana wala naman contractions..lets all pray we will have a safe and on time delivery my sis.
