Am currently in my 5th week. By June, I have training in UK, am thinking kung itutuloy ko pa kasi about 15 hrs yun and I will be around my 12th week. Hindi kaya maging sobrang stressful yun? plus me short transfer flight pa pala yun.

@chardonnay - critical yung 1st trimester sis, ask your OB rin kung papayagan ka niya.

sis ako after 12 weeks ako nagtravel. nagkadelay pa flight ko. lagpas 24 hours ako total sa biyahe. pero all in all, ok naman ako. ang napansin ko lang na difference is naging queasy ako during take off and landing, but pag steady na, no problems. i never had issues travelling naman and no stress thing saken magtravel by air, PERO after 12 weeks talaga yung flight ko. critical nga daw yung first 12 weeks. if you think na di ka mastrestress tapos mahilig ka naman magbiyahe or madalas, baka kaya mo naman. magbaon ka din ng food na gusto mo from the airport kasi baka di mo magustuhan plane food.

nagbiyahe ako at 13-14 weeks. two transfers from US. everything went smoothly naman. and i think even if earlier ako nagtravel magiging ganun din result- A OK. basta wag ka na magbuhat pala ng mabigat. i usually lug around an overnight bag pa for my handcarry pero di ko ginawa yun. as much as possible make yourself comfortable lalo na if may transfer ka, mas ok yung walang dala. pouch or shoulder bag lang, get all your papers ready para mabilis ka lang sa airport. icheckin mo na yung iba tapos syempre may wheels dapat bag mo para di mo kelangan buhatin yung buong weight. get an aisle seat para no hassle sayo magpunta sa restroom. taposask for an extra pillow if di comfortable lower back mo. i didnt take any kind of medications prior my flight kasi i was never prone to motion sickness naman maski before. kaya nagulat ako nung take off at landing i felt queasy talaga pero it was manageable. magbaon ka din ng slipper socks para relaxde pati feet mo. maaliit na roll lang naman yun, kasyang kasya sa shoulder bag hehe!

ako din sis first namen ito, am 24. pero bata pa naman yung 32 sis! kaw naman. the best thing to do is pakinggan mo body mo sis. ako kasi maski bedrest ako buong feb at march, wala akong naramdamang marereklamo ko aside from minor headache saka problem with keeping the food down. pero it was getting better. as for weakness or always tired- di ko sya nafeel. i was sleepy. a lot. pero i felt like i had a ton of energy inside me na nakulong dahil sa bed rest. kaya i knew kayang kaya mo magbiyahe. and ob even gave me a go signal to travel ulit this May. :)

if mas sensitive pregnancy mo sis, go for a checkup before your supposed flight and most importantly listen to your body, malalaman mo naman sis if kaya ng katawan mo or hinde. kapag feeling mo sis it's too much, dont go for it. i know a lot of people who wont travel by air, or by land if more than 2 hours, kapag preggy sila. personally, feeling ko mas comfortable air travel kasi mas hindi nakaka'tagtag' ng katawan. pero own preference na yun. madaming nagiging anxious sa plane rides and that would only induce stress, which is not good for pregnant women. basta kung ano sabi ng katawan mo, listen to that. if in doubt, either ask the ob, or stay na lang :)

baliktad hehe! ako nung first months talagang frequent visitor ako sa bathroom dahil sa morning sickness, hapon sickness, at night sickness. pero tinatry ko pigilan at night dahil kakainom ko lang ng vitamins ko by then. if wala kang nausea, i bet mas madali for you to travel. but check it out with your ob na din. magbibigay naman sila ng go signal if ok and they'll warn you if di advisable (or if stubborn ka, yung husband mo ang sasabihan para wala kang kawala haha)

yes sis.. check their website and download the form kasi ififill out ni OB yun .. and then clearance na you are safe to travel, etc. make sure you have at least 2 copies kasi kinkuha nung ibang airlines..

nagustuhan ko nung nagtravel ako 7 mos preggy alone to Australia and NZ. highly recommended ko ang Sing Air. I love them.. ang bait nila ang special treatment talga mga buntis.. [textspeak!] kayong agboboard sa plane and sa pagbaba may susundo pa sa inyo sa plane.. may dalat pang wheelchair LOL.. hanggang sa connecting flight ko sa SG sa lounge ako nung mga may special needs LOL like oldies, etc. and super maalaga sila...

imbyerna ako pabalik sa Qantas.. hay naku.. nagpapatulong lang ako kunin yung hand cary ko sa overhead bin sabi ba naman you can do it yourself maam... grrr... so sabi ko cant you see i am pregnant.. lol.. yung isang pasahero na lang kumuha.. laya kasumpa sumpa sila... i will never travel via Qantas again talga...  >:(

dont forget your meds and prescriptions sa meds mo :)

pag OK naman kay OB. i think you are fine.. bibigyan ka naman nyan nung duvadilan ba yun? pero kung ako sayo, kung d naman talga kelangan, i think mas maganda pag restful at relaxing ang travel mo at hindi yung puro lakad.. mas maganda din may kasama para sure :)

^^ hi sis, if hindi naman high-risk ang pregnancy mo and if may go signal si OB, i think it is safe. during my first pregnancy, around 7mos na din ako nung umuwi sa pinas. pero hindi naman ako puro lakad that time. Maybe you can opt to go to Tagaytay or mag-check in na lang sa hotels if you want to relax, stay-cation yata ang term nila dun, turn off your mobile phone too, hehe!) Smile sis, wag magpa-stress.

i agree.. mas lalo talgang mahirap magbyahe... good luck sa mga bitbitin at lalo ng yung mga lugar na pupuntahan mo mas limited na kasi iispin mo si baby.. magaantay ka pa na lumaki sya :) na pwede ng itravel.. i suggest you go with it kung OK naman kay OB.. wag lang yung nakakapagud na byahe... chillax lang :) enjoy your trip sis! dont forget the documents  and the prescriptions :)

am 21-22 weeks now and just got back from a short trip. isoxilan yung binigay ng ob ko. she's a pretty good ob- so nung ang go signal sya, tiwala naman kami. and take note- lakad lakad lakad yung biyahe na yun because we went there to tour hindi to check in sa spa and hibernate hehe! i took the meds one hour before the flight, tapos every 6 hours. paguwi ko, same day i went and had an ultrasound. my baby is A-OK! super kulit kasi i had a chocolate frappe (no coffee) prior the ultrasound. 3 days kami on vacation. sa vietnam, the flight was only a few hours lang. pero ako kasi, no biggie talaga ang air travel, di ako nastrestress. i was more concerned sa walking part ng vacation namen. i love walking, so dun, talagang i walked for hours. so far, so good!

BUT i dont intend to travel kapag 8months or more. i wouldnt even think about it unless super emergency. :)

hi sis! i flew pa to new zealand when i was 28 weeks pregnant. that's 14 hours long... fortunately my brother works in singapore airlines and was able to give me a whole row, all to myself. you need leg room kasi. just bring lang a permit to fly slip from your doctor. try to relax while on the plane. have a lovely trip! :)

I'm 6 weeks pregnant now. Na-stress ako bigla nung naalala ko yung trip namin to Boracay sa July. I'll be 17 weeks pregnant by then. It is good to know that it is safe to travel by air kahit pregnant, kausapin ko na lang OB ko about it.
