ayaw mo try other universities, sis? hehe. especially kung maciado unconscionable and risky ang cost.

hindi kasi ako university-centric.

i still believe depende pa rin yan sa estudyante (lalo na pag master's!).  regardless of gano kamahal or ka-prestigious yung university, individual tiyaga, research capability, analytical strength and articulation pa rin talaga ang nagdedetermine kung mag-e-excel ka at makakatapos.
that's true... i myself am very interested in Admu mba because i like their curriculum best... sa aim naman, i read that they tied up with bpi to offer loans to successful program applicants...

That depends on what you're interested in. :)  Pero based on my experience, mas madali natatapos ang MBA kesa other MA courses.  Take my case for example, I finished my MBA in 2008.  I then took another MA (Psychology) a few months after I got my MBA degree.  Hanggang ngayon di ko pa rin sya tapos, hehe.  Mas research-centric ang MA kesa MBA.  Tapos other MA classes hindi employee-friendly ang schedules, like for example, may ibang MA classes na 3pm ang class.  Most MBA classes are held at night (except yung full-time program sa UP and sa AIM ata).

Hi everyone!

Posts here are very helpful. Does anyone know the details of UP Manila's Master of Management entrance examination? Hope you can give me pointers for review.

Thank you very much.

For those who finished their MBA at UP Diliman,
I'd like to ask po how much yung tuition fee per unit?

Sa Pamantasan ng Maynila?

Sa Ateneo po?

Salamat!

Yes, Aim talaga known as an  expensive school kaya urong sulong rin ako. Parang sore thumb effect ang pwedeng mangyare sakin (ako lang ang poor sa mga magkakaklase). When I was still working in Paseo de Roxas,  I see high end cars parked at AIM.

Most of the students in the other programs (EMBA, MM, MDP, etc.) are middle and top-level managers already and they are usually sent by their companies.  The companies pay for their schooling.

Yung MBA naman, you can take a loan then pay for it later.  I have a friend who did this.  Para siyang nag-amortize ng bahay.  ;)  but it was worth it for her.

Going to AIM and other prestigious universities is worth it.  I am taking MDP in AIM and the quality of teaching is really above par.  Bakit ka pa mag-ma-Master's sa hindi kilalang school (in the field you want to master)? Will it add value to your career if you pursue it in a school not so prestigious but mas mura ang tuition.  Definitely not.

Employers are swayed by schools with names.  That is the truth.
