^max of 42inches if im not mistaken and dapat bought atleast 6mos ago para walang tax. and dapat OFW.

Hi sis. I went to Dubai early this year and I had a blast! Stayed at The Palace Old Town and the area around the hotel was awesome. There's Burj Khalifa nearby, an obvious must see, Dubai Mall for high end shopping (highly recommend dining al fresco at Wafi Gourmet with the views of Dubai fountain), doing the hop on/off tour so you can get a glimpse of the city. I enjoed the 4x4 desert safari tour also, transport,BBQ dinner and show included, found this to be really good value. I've been to the Atlantis Bahamas already so had to skip the one in Dubai but I'm sure it's as impressive, if not more. I also recommend trying flavored houkkah/sisha, while having mezze and cocktails (something you can do at night). Or you can opt to have a nice meal or drink at the Burj Al Arab,take note though that you need to make a reservation in advance!
Didnt shop much since everything is cheaper here in the US. Although I highly suggest buying assorted baklava/sweets from Wafi Gourmet, a bit pricey but so worth it. I was hoping to buy gold jewelry but was unsuccessful. The prices were beyond what I had in mind.

Mga sis in Dubai, question lang po. Bf and I will be there kasi on friday na for a 4 day holiday. Kasi we will have a dinner for 2 nights sa hotel, ask ko lang kasi formal sya, pwede ba cocktail dress sa dubai ng sleeveless? hindi naman super ikli pero syempre yung hanggang tuhod, and need ko pa ba magsuot ng cardigan? kung magcacardigan na lang, pwede ko ba tanggalin yun pagdating ng restaurant?or keep it on lang? Sa ibang hotel kasi kami magdidinner so babyahe kami baka bawal nakasleeveless or nakadress ng maikli, mabuti ng safe diba. At saka pasuggest na rin po ano maganda kainan dun na di masyado mahal and what to eat na rin there. The last 2 days kasi namin eh solo time namin ni bf.hehe.

^ok lang sleeveless or shorts etc. They're not that strict except pag ramadan. What food hanap nyo, arabic ba? Try nyo Automatic Cafe. Their kebabs are really good. If gusto nyo ng formal setting, go to Levantine at Atlantis Hotel. Was about to suggest Nobu at Atlantis Hotel kaso sabi mo kasi "di masyado mahal" hehe.

^sis I got tickets for my parents on CebPac's promo for Oct. My cousin will be sponsoring them. Sabi nya okay na daw ang 5 days to leisurely see the place.

sis kaya yan ang DIY. Maliit lang yung dubai and it's easy to go around. If I were you mag abu dhabi narin ako, around 4 hours drive siya (haven't been to abu dhabi though).

Tingin ko mga 3 nights okay na sa Dubai but thats me ha. Medyo fast pace kasi ang type ko. Siguro mga 5 nights sobra na for me, may time na ako to wander around the gold souks with that.

2010 pa ako nakapunta so ang dami ko ng nakalimutan. hehe but I love love this place sobra.

Ako, ang gagawin ko is mag skydive over the Palm Jumeira (ng iipon pa ako ng guts) tapos mag dessert safari.

dubai to adu dhabi 2hours drive lang. actually, 2hours from ajman to abudhabi pala. kung nasa dubai ka na, mga 1hour & a half nalang siguro.

parang nakita din namin ni hubby yung airfare promo na yan, manila to dubai ng CEBPAC.

^yup, CebPac will start to fly to DXB starting Oct 7 using their new A330. Nag promo sila ng Php888 one way but with taxes, advanced seat reservations, meals and baggage fees it all came out to Php29,000 for two paxs. Mura pa rin!
