as many as you can have! lol!! to collect a bag is really a girls thing! :0) I have more than 20 bags,most of them are gifts from relatives abroad! lol!

I intend to get more in the future when I have my own place. My room is small pa sa ngayon, I have no room for more bags.

I have 6. Pero i dont wanna acquire more as of now. Coz i tend to travel and live in different countries from time to time. Ang hirap when u have a collection tapos lahat dadalhin mo sa airport.

Pero to answer the question, minimum eto dapat:

1 black leather for work
1 white
1 brown
1 silver for formal occasions
1 red for the little black dress to match with

As many as you want as long as you can afford them he he. Me too I also have bag addiction. Grabe until I decided to resell bags na lang to satisfy myself. Kasi pag may nagustuhan ako binibili ko, kontento lang akong tingnan sya until ibebenta ko na nga. I'm also selling my used bags. Grabe ang addiction ko which is until now. Kaya yung kita ko sa binebenta ko napupunta lang din sa mga likes ko ha ha. At least in that way medyo nakakabawi ako sa kaolokohan ko.

As many as she can afford. In cash. Credit card means utang, ano mang justification ang sabihin regarding any kind of purchase.

It would really depend on the woman's lifestyle. I have bags for work, for casual outings, trips, formal events, hiking, at pangharabas (e.g., pag pumunta ng wet market, quiapo, or any seedy areas)

I was a bag hoarder pero nowadays iniisip ko muna kung magagamit ko talaga siya and comfortable gamitin, mabilis din kasi ako magsawa.

Napansin ko "as many as can afford" ang sagot ng karamihan sa inyo hehe...

A couple of you mentioned hobo style - yun yata ang wala pa ako. Ok ba yun for work, weekends or both?

Mga 3 designer bags siguro pwede na.

If it's a question of SHOULD, I agree with those who came up with a number, depending on the lifestyle. Mine would be 5-7, including those for travel.

I don't want to count, and encounter some evidence of moments of madness. Lol
And yes, never buy a bag on credit.
So, as long as you can afford it in cash, and find time to use it at least 1x a month -- go!

But once upon a time, when I was super super busy -- I lived using just 1 black Italian leather bag weekdays, and an LV bag for weekends (all others ignored, unused for 6 months!).
So there, we can live with just 2 bags.
