How to connect Smart Bro to wifi?
« on: November 22, 2010, 11:41:47 pm »
Hi anyone here ever tried connecting their Smart Bro to a router? Mabilis pa rin ba yung net? Anyway I have a desktop and a laptop. What are the things do I need so that the desktop and the laptop can both access the internet at the same time? Are there any security locks for smart bro since I once tried to disconnect the internet from the desktop and put it on my laptop but it won't work. I think its because smartbro is only enrolled for my desktop? Thanks.

Interested din ako malaman ang sagot.

In the alternative, may wifi service naba ang smart? papaputol namin tong broadband para maging wifi na, if ever. if wala, lipat nalang siguro sa ibang brand

I use a router with our smartbro subscription.

Ang alam ko lang, smartbro registers your MAC address in their network. If you use a router, just spoof your desktop's MAC address on your router. Procedure depends on the router you are using.

Sa min we have 3 laptops, a desktop and 3 maybe 4 portable wifi devices (phone/ipods). Di naman sabay sabay na kumokonek, pero ang pinaka loaded na setup is 2 laptops and 2 wifi devices. Okay pa rin ang internet connectivity sa min.

It's pretty late but ihth :D
