Crossbody/Sling bags
« on: November 03, 2010, 12:57:34 am »
I love how these become useful when travelling.

I need suggestions for brands/stores which sell crossbody bags. I need somethin that would fit an iPad, an umbrella, phone and a wallet.

so far I've seen Nine West, Kipling, Franco Sarto, TH and XOXO.

TIA!

For travelling I highly recommend the snatch-proof and slash-proof, PacSafe bags. They have convertible backpacks that convert to sling bags just by adjusting the straps. It's not as maporma as designer branded bags but you have peace of mind naman specially when you're in crowded places.

Naku hirap nyan kung yung LV mo eh malaslas, iiyak ka nun!   :(

TUMI tops my list, not that I'm selling it but because of it's sleek look and durabilty.

For short trips to the mall, I use my black MNG sling purse. For dressier events, I use my Nine West sling purse or my caramel colored MNG sling bag.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.

I like Hedgren for it's durability and quality...I have this cross body sling bag I used when i went to Sagada and all my stuff even my cellphone were safe and dry after going out of the cave... ;D

If you want a sling bag that is dressier and stylish at the same time, but still fits your budget, I'd go for H&M.

I'm loyal to Kipling. Mahal na mahal ko ang aking mga unggoy na sina Hayden ;) at Lizzy eh. I love how roomy it is and that it has several compartments. It's my happy bag. :)

Just got my self a kipling cross bag for Christmas since I am going home and I always wanted to have one for travel so I bought the jerwis bag

http://www.kipling.com/int/handbags/across-body-bags/jerwis-2852.html?show_img=K1307621700+999

and it was on sale too! dami niyang compartments sa loob. but not that big.

my next target naman is the sling poppy coach for trips to the mall

Kipling ( cute unggoy!) and MNG

but i am eyeing a quilted cloth sling bag ( not fake or Chanel dupe ha) tsaka a leather satchel na pwede crossbody... Still deciding which is better suited for me

I really like Kipling. Been using my Kipling for everyday bag and travel bag. Aside from the monkey keychain I like it having the secret compartment and very light to carry.
