hi sis! there are a lot of schools now offering makeup artistry. of course there's center for aesthetics studies (CAS) for 25,000, La Salle College International (LCI) for (last time i checked) 15,000, Basement Academy, Makeup Forever (30,000), SOFA, Makeup Academy, etc. It just depends on your budget and needs. If you're looking for a less intentsive training, you may try makeup workshops.

I have been to CAS as a model for a friend. magaling ang instructor. My sister naman went to La salle as a model for her best friend and RB chanco is really good. CAS offers ata a portfolio for you after the course which will help you get gigs and shoots, and RB gives ojt and brings his students to makeup jobs, my sister's bestfriend helped in doing the makeup of bianca gonzales in snn in one episode as part of her ojt.

Hi! Im really very confused about what school to enroll in. My choices are LCI (which i've heard a lot of good feedbacks) or FIP (Fashion Institute of the Philippines). I have not heard anything yet from FIP though i have friends who go there for fashion and design---not make up. I've asked them about the course and they would say its good. But i still need reviews about FIP if its really good. The tuition is 11,500 for 8 saturdays 9am to 6pm. It has longer hours so mas madami akong matututuanan and its cheaper compared to La Salle and CAS. What do you guys think? Have you heard anything about FIP? Im planning to start on January (first class for 2011) because i'll be out of the country this holiday season. Please please help me choose :)

Hello girls! I finally get to choose where to enroll. I initially chose LA SALLE but then, the stopped the business and closed the school. I was told that all the students from LCI will be moved to SOFA. So, i moved to CAS. I know  made the right decision. I'll be starting on April. Im really excited :)
