:)  Basta make sure wag madalas maglakad ng maglakad and drink a lot of juice with vitamin C and eat a lot of healthy foods. :)  Good Luck!

The things I remember was use of the wash given to me by our midwife. It was to speed up healing and it was made out of herbs.
Also, I did not get an episiotomy but I had one very small tear so I was just adviced to keep my legs together for the next 6wks or so. So bawal ang de-kwatro or squatting.
As far as moving my bowels naman, I was adviced to exert counter-pressure sa perineum (pwerta?) to make it more comfortable for me.
Tucks Pad's also help ease the hemorrhoids. These are just square pads soaked in witch hazel.

Pag natanggal siya, oh my, what a relief!!! Ligo din ako everyday after kong manganak. Actually, twice a day pa para malinis iyong sugat.

This was 6 years ago... hayss..

I gave birth to my 1st child 7 years ago. All I used was the Betadine vaginal wash given by my OB.  Yun lang ginamit ko plus the peri-light at the hospital to hasten healing and drying of the wound.  After 2-3 days di na masakit and medyo dry na.  I took a bath right away the next day and walked para madali mag-heal and maka-poop.  Kasi pagka-poop ng 1st time, konting tiis lang ng sakit, okay na after. In a week's time I felt that I was back to my normal self although syempre pagod bec. ako hands-on sa baby ko without any help from others

Para mabilis mag heal ang tahi, what my OB advised me, every after shower pour betadine sa tahi, wag daw tipirin sa betadine, and don't use cotton balls. ang bilis nga gumaling, Unlike sa first baby ko, more than a month bago fully nag heal ang sugat.
