Pero yung enchanted river sa del sur yun di ba? Ang laging suggested route is from Davao.

Pinatubo o mag-Hinatuan river. Super limited lang days ko sa Pinas. :P

super ganda ng enchanted river and Tinuy-an falls. day tour lang kami from Davao City, more than 6 hours ang biyahe but it's worth it.  :D

is there a direct flight to siargao? we checked and the easiest route by plane is mnl-cebu-siargao.

aside from the beach and surfing, what are the must see places that are nearby?

and any recommended resorts near cloud 9?

^That's what we did ni hubby, via Cebu talaga yung flights.

Aside from surfing, maganda rin their beaches on some of their small islands. Sa main island of Siargao there is one beach an hour away from Cloud 9 called Magpupungko beach. You can also find the disappearing natural pools in this area.

As to resorts, marami along Cloud 9 depende na lang sa budget mo. Hubby and I stayed at Kalinaw Resort.

 :)

Little princess, madaming attractions sa siargao, hindi lang cloud 9. Downside lang is nasa iba ibang municipalities. Siargao island has 9 municipalities yata if i'm not mistaken. Cloud 9 is in general luna, magpupungko is in pilar. There's also the sohoton cave in socorro. Guyam Island. I know municipality of del carmen is also active in promoting their tourism. Meron sa website nila. Post ko dito, ask ko muna what yung website kasi i forgot. Hehe.

thanks mama squeak and kaiz!

planning to stay there for 3d2n lang and would want to make the most out of it. cloud 9 is the first choice because my kasama wants to surf :) though are the other municipalities accessible by motor bike? i heard its for rent all over the place.

anything not so far would be great. is it really nice in mapupungko and sohoton cave? would want to go to yohoho but i think it's too far.

i know of kalinaw is really nice and posh.. and expensive! hahaha :) ocean101 seems decent and sagana (sp?) as well. any other notable ones?

^We enjoyed Magpupungko so much. Just make sure to time your visit so you can also see the natural pools during low tide.

Hubby and I rented a motorbike for Php350/day. This was way back 2009.

Yeah, kalinaw is very nice and posh kaya the price is, haha! been to kalinaw to eat pizza lang. ang mahal kasi. been to magpupungko and sohoton too but i've never been to cloud9. meron naman maganda for snorkeling pero di ko pa rin napuntahan. Research muna ako about it.

All municipalities, except socorro where sohoton cave is located, are accessible by motor bike.

Sa mga nakapag-Hinatuan river na, how did you get there?  Also, may mga group tours ba na available? If there aren't, paano siya idi-DIY? TIA. :)
