hi Sis! naku if ganyan ang nangyayari... i would say maghanap ka na ng ibang work. alam mo, sa tagal mo sa work mo jan, i am sure maraming opportunities for you and even companies who will get you kasi they know hindi ka tatagal sa work if hindi ka okay mag work. your moving out of this company would be a career / advancement "move" diba.
Goodluck po! pm me if you need help.. pwede kitang i search ng mga openings! :D hehe la lang pwede rin if same line with my bf papa endorse kita sa kanya!! :)

sis kung di ka na happy sa work mo then i guess you should go na to a company that will make you feel better and happier..hindi ka rin magiging productive if you're still working na hindi mo na pala gusto..

cheer up!maraming pang mas okay na work diyan.. :)

hi TS, I never thought i would be placed in a similar situation as you do. dilemma ko naman right now, i'm currently working, super flexible ang time ko with my current job. i can be late for 2 hours without being reprimanded, i can be absent for 2 days per cutoff without having any deductions on my salary, i have free time to do my personal online stuff. but the problem is, my work is not my line of expertise. im considering to find a new job and build a career in line with what i really want to do, but definitely mawawala yung "perks" that im enjoying right now. hay.  :(

hi there. its hard di ba? may perks rin naman dito. hindi masyadong mahigpit ang boss ko, i can go on early lunches & be back arpund 1.30pm. hindi siya mahigpit sa internet kaya i can post here lagi.

sa company naman, napadala ako sa bora for a convention tapos all expense paid pa ha.

mag papasko na and here are the bonuses left and right. pag tapak ng october meron na akong natanggap, kakatanggap ko palang uli last monday, meron ulit sa dec 10, meron pa sa dec 23.

i was still in college nung nakapasok ako dito kaya mga assignments at printing jobs, dito rin.

Hi sis. If your concerns are your current Basic salary and the fact that a lot of employees and even some are newbies that are being promoted before you, which made u feel demoralized siguro reflect din why are they being promoted that easily? Was it really because of the "backers" or simply because you're not yet "shining" on your post? Try to excel in your current position probably by exerting extra effort (not to mention the years with them) which would have an impact in the company or with your working relationship with your boss i.e. proposing new projects which you will spearhead or your team (that can show your creativeness, organizing, planning and leadership skills) being punctual and with good attendance record (ex. not enjoying lunch break too long  ;) , surfing the  net for personal use etc..) Your boss might not reprimand you for such but he/she definitely don't like it... Remember you're in a corporate world and you should behave accordingly sis (payong kapatid lang po hehe) :D

Good news naman recent post mo. It seems that the bonuses and other perks compensate your current rate naman.. You mentioned you have a lot of bonuses with trips pa  ;D Calculate mo rin baka mataas kalalabasan ng monthly rate mo because of these bonuses (esp. if guaranteed)..  but ang ending is that if you're not happy na talaga better look for another job "BUT" don't resign yet unless you are certain na may new work ka na because you are supporting your family. And of course have a graceful exit. Goodluck sis!  ;)

Minsan kasi, you have to learn how to play politics din to achieve your goal. Can you at least establish friendship with someone in position in your company?
For every action there is an equal reaction. :)

you seem to be in a very good company. medyo mahirap hanapin yung qualities na yan sa ibang company.

for me,  wait ka na lang. malay mo next year magre-org and you'll have  a superior who might eventually see your potential. i think they know naman who are the "in-waiting" for promotion. i guess they'll know it by office gossip na rin and tenure?

@ sis trinket

how can i shine on my post kung all i do is paperworks? wala naman pwedeng suggest sa department ko kase hindi naman ako mid-level.

@ sis chengkii,

in a way kamag-anak ko ang immediate superior ko pero siya rin walang magawa para ipromote ako. yung mga pinag-uusapan sa staff meetings regarding sa mga positions alam ko. heto, may lumabas nanaman na positions and i was not chosen again kase yung napagbigyan ng position eh ninang yung magiging boss.

@ sis yinandyang

so so lang yung company namin. nataon lang sa department ko yung hindi ganun kabusy at mas seasonal yung work. sa benefits, well, income generating siya kaya ganyan ang mga benefits.
sana nga ma Privatize nalang yung company namin para mapromote ako kase senior naman ako.

Asan yung fairness if ako na 7years na sa company + complete requriements VS a new employee na 6 months palang BUT kapitbahay ang boss ng office. Siya yung napili. =(

I share your feelings, ysa.belle.  Along those lines rin naranasan ko when I was still working for the government.  Palakasan talaga at kahit kapos sa IQ and morals as long as you know someone mas malakas chances mo ma-promote.  Well, hoping P-Noy makes some major changes soon as mukhang nakakalimutan na niya promises niya :P

Mahirap indeed to shine in your position considering even if you do make an effort mas malaki ang chances na hindi mapansin pa rin or some shark takes it for her own benefit.

thanks sis cityhunter. its so hard kase before talagang everytime may maopen na positions eh super apply ako. tapos after a few (4) times of applying pero sa 4 times na iyon mga 4-5 positions ha, hindi ako makajackpot eh nawalan na ako ng ganang mag-work.

it came to a point na nagsawa nalang ako kase dami na ng sama ng loob.

kahit matagal na ang isang empleyado sa isang kumpanya, hindi rin yun ang basis ng promotion.. it is not only seniority but also your qualifications.. or baka naman at the start of the employment, sinabi na dun sa tao na within a short period of time ay mapromote siya..

tsaka hindi naman guarantee ang promotion kapag nagtagal ka, it is still within the prerogatives of the management.. so it does not mean na kung ikaw na lang ang hindi na-promote ay ikaw na ang next..

it is either there is something else store for you or kailangan mo pa ng hard work para mapromote
I love baby Theo!

May mga naoopen nanaman ng positions last year (November) and lumabas na ngayong yung mga nakuha. Sadly, hindi nanaman ako nakuha. Bypassed nanaman ako. Gustong gusto ko ng magresign.

sis nakakababa nga ng moral yong nararanasan mo sa company mo..why don;t you try looking for a job abroad where pwede mong maisama anak mo sis? try to apply online sis pero abroad in an open country where pwede maisama ang pamilya. usually in asian countries na open sis.

may i know your career background sis if you don't mind?
