me too, nagpimple ng first few days, i think that's normal. pero after a week or two, kuminis ng husto face ko and hindi pa ako nagkakapimple ever since I started taking it. i don't have pimples naman to begin with pero na-lessen din ang oiliness. Some of our patients before experience side effect but disappears after a month or two.

Sis gaano kna katagal gumagamit ng althea? pang 7days ko na kanina,[textspeak!] partner ko ayaw gumamit ng condom. panu un, pag nag sex kmi w/o condom mabubuntis ako?

6 months sis. I like the effect sa skin ko, ang kinis talaga and hindi ako nagpipimple.

Basta after 7 days sis, safe na yun. anytime, even if nasa pill free days ka, hindi ka mabubuntis provided that you're taking it everyday, preferably same time each day. wag ka lang magmimiss, very effective ang pills. also, follow up will your next pack on the recommended date, 8th day after your last pill from previous pack.

Sis, Pang 8th day ko kaninang 11:00pm ulit. And nag do kami w/o condom! Hnd pa sya nag withraw, Are u sure ok lang un? Natatakot ako, Sobra!

Baka mabuntis ako. Is it normal na sumakit ang puson pag nag pipills? Kanina kasi hapon, Sobrang sakit niya. Hindi naman ako magkakamens. Thanks for ur reply sis..

^ yes sis. if tuloy2x intake mo without miss sa time and pill, effective yan. just take the entire pack of pills diligently, again, very effective yan.

as for the symptoms or discomfort you are experiencing, it's common sa first few days or weeks. remember this is a hormonal pill that alters your body's usual rhythm, so you really can't rely on symptoms that you're feeling as indication of pregnancy. Ako dati sa ganyan din, but now wala na ako nararamdaman at all after taking pills. hinihintay ko nalang menstruation ko 5 days after my last pill. yung iba naman, 4th day, some, 3rd.

if the symptoms are causing you too much discomfort or uneasiness, visit an OB sis.

Thanks sis.. OTC parin sya diba? Balak ko itake this June pag dumating na 1st mens or baka July or August di ko sure kasi nga irregular ako. Di ko naman habol yung contraception eh (at least not now hehe),since di naman namin ginagawa yun ni bf,so no worries naman about dun. Kaya ko naman siguro yung slight dizziness wag lang sobra, sana lang wag maapektuhan masyado yung mood ko. Kelangan sa work yung good mood talking with clients.

Hi sissy’s! Share ko lang my expirience with this pill (Althea) 1st time user ako, and naka 1 pack na ako. Nag ka mens na din ako, tommorow is my 8th day (After 7days free pills day) So i should take my 1st pill for 2nd pack. The side effects to me are, SUPER HEADACHE (But not daily, its like alternate) SUPER ANTUKIN! PA ISA ISANG PIMPLES! :/ And I got slow flow mens. Unlike my usual flow, (Malakas kasi mens ko.) Thats all! What do you think guys? Should i switch to another brand?

It would not hurt to switch.

I used to be a Diane user and endured the dizziness it caused me. I tried Althea and I felt much better.

Ima use this again kasi I'm fixing my period. No menstration dapat on my wedding day.

with pills sis, magiging mahina talaga mens mo. that's normal. It will also decrease menstrual cramps. Yun ang purpose nya actually. Side effects such as headache, possible na mawala after few months of use. Occasional pimple, happened to me rin pero nawala after my first pack. In fact, hindi na ako nagkakapimple ngayon.

It's up to you if you'll switch agad.

hi! nagstart ulit ako mag althea after ilang years. OB ko naman ang nagsabi dahil naging irregular ang mens ko dahil sa pcos. kaya lang last monday hindi pala ako nakainom, tapos kagabi ang ininom ko ay yung pang tuesday. so laktaw ng monday. ok lang ba yun? nagkamali kasi ako, dapat pala ang ininom ko ay pang monday para ngayon ang pang tuesday at paging tama na mamayang gabi.

normal lang ba yun? kasi before using althea hindi naman ako nagkaka pimple e..

nagkapimple ako while using my first pack, siguro mga 3,pero hindi naman malaki, hindi din ako pinipimple, madalang lang, kapag puyat, pero yun, nawala din pang 3rd pack ko na ngayon, mukhang wala na namang side effects, nakapag-adjust na ata katawan ko din, ang worry ko lang, baka magcause to ng panlalabo ng mata ko, may nabasa kasi ako dito before na ganon.

hello.. just want to ask po. i'm on diane 35 currently and want to switch to althea kasi parang madami akong naririnig na magagandang feedbacks. ask ko lang if mg.switch ako ng brand, icoconsider ko pa rin bang "not-so-safe-to-have-sex" yung 1st seven(7) days ko or hindi na? consider as safe na [textspeak!]?

^ang alam ko ang diane 35 and althea ay have same chemical composition and dosage. just correct me if im wrong.

in diane 35. each pill contains the same dosage and ingredients as the other pills so it doesnt matter kung ano ang una mong ma-take basta makumpleto mo yung cycle. so it would be the same sa althea.

i'm into my 2nd week with Althea. tender breasts lang naman ang na notice ko. kaya lang eto nga 2nd week na ko pero may spotting pa din ako. sometimes brown sometimes red pero spotting lang talaga. is it normal?
