Hi i'm new here. itatanong ko sana kung kailan ako pede magstart magtake nito.
i am sexually active && we're onto withdrawal method.
but last month hmm due to being drunk naiputok niya sa loob

1 month na kong delayed but i already took pregnancy test twice pero negative naman. $:-\$
regular naman ako kaya i'm pretty afraid right now. can i still take this pill?

^ you have to wait for your menstruation before taking this pill because you have to take it on the FIRST day of your mens.

is it ok na uminom ng coffee and vitamins while taking althea? i'm on my 5th month and super happy ako sa results while taking it

@elsiepira: na experience ko nuon pero hindi naman sobrang sakit, lumalaki daw ang boobs sa althea eh kaya siguro may ganung feeling

@sansa123: if you're going to take althea and other pills, meron pong instructions kasama sa box pag bumili ka

pero mas okay ask ka muna sa OB mo kasi sila po yung makaka make sure kung pwede ka mag pills

@polly_popo: okay lang po uminom ng coffee at vitamins, wag lang mag smoke

hi mga sis, newbie ako dito. first time ko magtake ng pills. bakit pala bawal mag smoke habang nagtatake ng pills? mawawala ba yung effect nung althea sakin if ever i continue on smoking?

I started my first banig last Saturday. So far wala pa namang drowsiness, compared to my experience with Daphne.

mga sis! help! i got my period last may13 and it ended up last may16. then i took althea may27, is it ok? kasi nabasa ko na pwede magtake anytime basta hndi buntis. okay lang ba un? effect ba yun? or walang effect yung pills, masasayang lang ba paginom ko? i took the 2nd pill knina lang 11:30pm. pwede ko ba sya i-stop? pls mga sis help me, hoping for ur respond asap guys... thanks

sa nabasa ko dito, yung iba nga daw hinahanapan ng prescription sa mercury drugstore.. pero sa watson daw di hinahanapan..

^as contraceptive sis.. di ko alam if ano pa ibang effect kasi i'm on the 2nd pack pa lang... di ko masyadong noticed yung sa boobs since kapapanganak ko lang 4 months ago, yung sa skin naman walang major pimple na nagpop ngayon sa face ko dati meron paisa-isa.

sis first time user ka ba? dapat kung first time first day ng mens mo. alanganin iyong pag inom mo. itigil mo na lang muna then pag nagka mens ka dun mo ulit simulan.

ititigil ko? bka mabuntis ako? hndi muna ko mag makikipag do ganun? sabi nung friend ko alanganin nga din daw yung inom ko, sabi nya malamang mag ka mens daw ako tpos may pills pa rin daw ako. kpag ganun daw inumin ko pa rin daw yung natitira. tama ba un?
and lastly... nag kaka pimples ako sa althea, 4x plng ako gumagamit nag kaka pimple na ako kagad, e hndi naman ako ma pimple ever since hndi ako hiyang noh?

@TeenMom17 pwede magsimula anytime basta use protection for the first 7 days strictly. As much as possible sa first pack sis magcondom muna kayo pag may contact. Sayang naman if magstop ka.

sa 2nd pack okay na yun.

A withdrawal bleeding episode occurs during this week because the change in hormone dosage causes the uterine lining to weaken just enough to allow for some bleeding to occur. It is important to point out that withdrawal bleeding is due to the change in hormone levels, not a true period.
A withdrawal bleed can also occur after a course of progesterone therapy.

You may take it any time as long as you're not pregnant, basta for first time user, use protection for the first 7 days. follow up your 2nd pack din accordingly. 8th day after ng last pill sa previous pack.

me too, nagpimple ng first few days, i think that's normal. pero after a week or two, kuminis ng husto face ko and hindi pa ako nagkakapimple ever since I started taking it. i don't have pimples naman to begin with pero na-lessen din ang oiliness. Some of our patients before experience side effect but disappears after a month or two.
