ako naman, i never tried the flavored ones.. i like the unflavored oatmeal.. but i put sugar and sometimes milk.. and di ko din 'to breakfast food since i seldom eat breakfast. i eat oatmeal as substitute to dinner. before elevated and BP ko, maybe because that time lagi akong puyat then i tried oatmeal diet for a week. everynight oatmeal lang ako. when i go back to the doctor and the nurse ws checking my VS she said "infairness naglose ka ng 10 pounds and normal na BP mo".

so glad to stumble upon your post sis... elevated kasi yun BP ko ngayon and im really finding ways on how to correct this.....will definitely try this! thanks

hello! i've tried oatmeal diet last march. actually crash diet yung ginawa ko.... ang kinakain ko lang oatmeal, tuna in water, hard boiled egg tsaka fruits lol madalas apples. yung oatmeal ko, either powdered milk or nestle milk chocolate ang hinahalu ko tas artificial sweetener kaya matamis parin sha. and mejo watery yung consistency na ginagawa ko, para di mahirap kainin pag yung usual kasi, nakakasuya eh. yun ang ginawa kong substitute for rice, pag morning with hard boiled egg. pag lunch, with tuna in water. pag dinner, with fruits. within two weeks, i lost 18lbs lol... pero ngayon nabawi ko nanaman nyahaha kaya diet mode ulit.

hello! just wanna share din my experience - - before ako nag pakasal back in 2004 i remember 6 months before my wedding, I replaced yung rice with oatmeal - -oatmeal ang ginawa kong rice plus ulam - -  plus non fat milk ang iniinom ko at night...so far success naman ang story, nag lose naman ako ng weight; nag fit naman ang wedding gown ko pero nasobrahan nga [textspeak!] ang pag payat ko [textspeak!] medyo lumuwag yung gown ko..so instead na tube cia, I have to put on the strap :)
25 lbs lighter and I love it!!!
From 130 lbs down to 105 - just after 20 days of strict diet :)

I think i will try to incorporate the hard boiled eggs and tuna with my oatmeal... kasi gutumin ako.... I even add flaxseed or wheatgerm para pabusog...pero minsan, di talaga kaya....
thanks for sharing.

Favorite ko oatmeal, grandpa ko kasi lagi ako pinapakain nung bata pa ako. Sa ngayon, I can't live without oatmeal. Pwede breakfast, merienda, mignight snack.

I'm on a very low calorie diet (VLCD), and i think it's effective. may program is to take 750 calories a day. My weight now is 109lbs and my target weight by end of december is 90lbs. Then the whole january month, toning ako. Sa program ko, i must loose 1.6lbs per week. Kaya best pal kami ni oatmeal ngaun. hehe. Actually, my gown is a lace up back, kaya hindi ko na talaga need magpapayat, pero WTH! db, minsan ka lang ikakasal, so have an almost perfect body. :D I'll update this post every week para magka idea kayo sis if gano sya ka effective.

I love Oatmeal too. I had Oatmeal Porridge (QAUKER OATS BAND) FOR Breakfast then oatmeal milk with soya milk/non-fat milk and real strawberries at night. Then brown rice meal for lunch. And workout. I lost 8 lbs in 1 month. I am resorting to oatmeal when I want to k=jumpstart my diet. Bumaba cholesterol (nasa boundary kasi ako pero my good choles is super duper high, yung bad ko, nasa boundary) ko pero my uric acid tumaas :( so goodbye oatmeal muna.

Dati nung pumapasok ako sa school, oatmeal with frozen bananas. Super yummy. I did not see any significant improvement naman kasi losing weight was not goal then. Pero I feel fuller from my 7 am class up to lunch time.

Pa join mga sis!

Magseshare lang po ako, kasi nagdiet po ako using the slimming coffee, then after two months naattain ko yung ideal shape and weight ko, so i decided to stop drinking slimming coffee, then nagisip ako ng natural ways of maintaining my weight and shape, without the slimming coffee.  More fruits and vegetables, less meats and unhealthy snacks.

1 week ako na hindi kumain ng oatmeal. i felt heavy tapos constipated. i ate oatmeal kanina and ok na bowel movement. i have to agree about hindi madaling magutom. hindi ako matakaw when i eat oatmeal 3x a day.
