since my yrs old is now grade 1 level, her sched is really early in the morning at 7am-12nn time. for the follwoing days here are the baon that we prep for her morning mid snack that can last her til atleast 1pm lunch at home:

-cereal with tetra pack fresh milk; water
-home-made pizza; juice ; water

for home-made pizza recipe:
-small pizza crust (readily available at supermarket)
-sweet ham sliced (pan fry a little)
-grated quick melt cheese
-pizza sauce (available at supermarket)
-- spread pizza sauce at the pizza crust
-- put cooked swee ham slices on top
-- sprinkle grated quick melt cheese on top
-- put in the oven toater for 10-15minutes or until the cheese melted
-- sliced in 4s and pack in your kids lunch bag.

she still eats a little rice and ulam for her breakfast while waiting for her school service to make sure she won't get hungry in the mid of the class.

pa-share din po moms of your school baon for your kids.

sis for lunch recipe here are my suggestions:

fish fillet
cream dory strips
put little salt and pepper lang para di maalat
dip in egg
dip in japanese bread crumbs
then fry
you can make dip whatever your kids like
but for my girls kasi catsup lang ok na.

also try..
shrimp in cheese lumpia

put little salt sa peeled shrimps
then slice cheese quickmelt (kaisng laki din ng shrimps)
put shrimp and cheese stick together sa lumpia wrapper
then fry.
may nagshare nito na gt sis din.

hope you like it.

chicken adobo
beef steak
hotdog/sausage/spam (kapag wala na ko maisip pero as much as possible ayaw ko ito dahil hindi healthy)
chicken nuggets (pero sinawaan na siya dito)
tempura
pasta with tuyo in olive oil and lemon (hindi ito panisin kasi hindi tomato base)

Ano pa kaya? pa share naman ... thanks.

for the cream dory fillet sure winner sa mga kids ko yan crunchy na malambot pa sa loob kasi white flesh fish sya kaya akala nila chicken.

for the other gt moms sana may mashare pa maraming recipes/ideas for the kids baon.

wow sis.. ang sarap naman ng recipe mo.. I'm sure the kids will love it.. thanks ;)

^^ sis depends din kasi sa time ng kid mo. baka kasi near lunch time na din ang time ng break time nila better bring baon good for lunch. o baka naman 9am ang break time just bring light baon para if sa house pa ang lunch nya di sya mawawalan ng gana.

for my kid if sa house pa sya maglalunch we just pack for baon..
-cupcakes
-cereals with milk (in tetra)
-bread and cheese spread

kapag lunch time naman na nasa school sya
-nuggets with rice
-burger steak with gravy (home made) and rice
-chicken fingers with rice.
-lumpia shanghai with rice
-cream dory fillet breaded with rice
-fried chicken with rice

now naman we do her baon menu for the whole week kasabay ng paggawa ko ng menu namin for the week. i let her write it on her own sya kasi nakakaalam ng gusto nya tapaos i just give suggestions kapag wala na sya maisip.

hope it helps.

My son naman, he's in grade 3. 7-12 ang schedule niya. Kumakain na ng rice & ulam dito sa bahay yun bago umalis, so most of the time, he prefers sandwiches para sa snack niya. Sometimes he likes rice din.

The usual:
1. Burger patties: fry the burger(pwedeng home-made or store-bought); set aside. Mix mayo & ketchup, yun ang base ng bun. I have cabbage in the ref, shred ko lang ng konti, add ko na sa ketchup-mayo mix (it's a good camouflage para sa veggie). Then patong na yung burger, followed by a cheese square.

2. Chicken tenders: parang fish fillet din ang style; ang substitute ko for Japanese breadcrumbs, dinurog na corn flakes. But I wake up mga 4:30 kasi after frying for a short while, I bake the tenders para super lambot and yummy. Healthier din.

3. I also experimented with our left-over lechon manok. I shredded the meat, fried in a very small amount of butter; then I added some cauliflower florets; nag-scramble ako ng egg with just a little salt, then I poured it on top of the chicken & cauli. Ayun, one new tasty omelet baon for my son again. If you like, pwedeng mag-grate ng konting cheese on top bago maluto.
