maganda naman MK bags and OK quality but there is one thing i really noticed sa MK brand. there is no single design of bag that will remind me that its MK-design. parang kahit anong design ng bag yata meron sila =)

Saw the Hamilton in the MK website, maganda naman but i was eyeing a purse from another brand. The following day, we passed by an MK store, ang ganda ng mga display bags so we went inside and tested the Hamilton and the Calista. So very unexpectedly, and since medyo nanghihinayang naman ako with the money to buy this other bag, I bought the Hamilton in luggage. if we were not hard pressed for time, i would have crossed the border to shop kasi mas mura. Pero happy naman ako with my purchase.

I like MK bags. They are stylish and not as expensive as the other brands.

i like his bags. gusto ko yung pagka-brown eh. i don't have his bags but my sister does and she says sarap dalhin because magaan daw leather. some of his bags i really like but he has bags that remind me of other bags. the hamilton kind of looks like a birkin. tapos he has a bag that looks like a totally. then again, he's not the only designer guilty of "copying".  :P

I was also somehow reminded of the birkin when i saw the hamilton. I think in some of his bags, MK uses lambskin and calfskin. Lambskin is supple, magaan, pero prone din to easy scratches. His other line has the more expensive bags. But if you go to the MK outlet store, there is a price difference from the boutique. Even the styles Saks carry, it goes on sale.

i have MK bags, 7 i think. very useful, and matibay. accomodates my netbook, shoes, make up kits, planner! only disadvantage, nagtatarnish ng konti yung mga gold buckles if matatago ng hindi nalilinis!

Michael by Michael Kors is the high end one.  Michael Kors is the more afforadble one.

To those who have the MK LOVES TOTE (manila/new york/los angeles etc), how do you clean your bags? Hirap kasi may leather trims. Baka mag peel.

I buy them for relatives in the Philippines, since I always find them at Ross and Loehmann's ( discount stores). Prices ranges from $30 to $150. Not bad pero tsambahan sometimes kasi they only have limited quantities.

i was at a bazaar where i saw this lovely dark blue soft leather MK bag priced at 15k. i don't know anything about MK bags so i didn't buy, although i instantly fell in love with it cos it's genuine leather and yet so light.

girls, what would be your advice to a first-time buyer of MK bag? can you recommend sellers of reasonably-priced authentic MK bags? :) thanks!
less packaging, more beautiful.

^ if you're into big bags, the size is ok... But i have you warn you about the weight. Its quite heavy
because of the hardware. But the bag itself is well-made.

More visuals here.

HTH.
