8k to 10k to spare... what shall i add for my baby's birthday?

As what i have been saying, hubby and i have a budget to follow for my son's birthday.  the truth is, budget ni hubby yun kasi sya financer hehe..i have full responsibility for the preps/suppliers.  now  im thinking of getting 8 to 10k out from my own pocket.  and i cannot decide which of these shall i add:

-photobooth
actually if i get photobooth, i am thinking of giving away tokens/loot bags na simple lang because they have photo naman as a souvenir na rin.

-video
this is not even included in the plan.  never really thought about getting one.  im okay with photos.  but when i saw some of the suppliers'works, i became sentimental bigla.  hindi na kasi mauulit ang 1st birthday and parang ang ganda balik balikan if i have a video of what actually happened during his birthday.

-engrandeng balloon/ theme set-up
this sets the mood for every event di ba?  i got the lowest package and im planning to add a few DIY decor nalang.  but with the spare budget, shall i just get the full package?  shall i make the venue look really festive?

-foodcarts and kiddie activities
as of the moment, we are only set on getting a sorbetero.  with kiddie activities, none.  kasi di rin naman ako sure kung gusto nila magpalagay ng tattoo or the like e.  hmm.. what you think?

Gosh, ka stress!!  and im soooo cramming already!

I'd choose the video, sis.  You'll be so busy making sure that the guests are comfortable and you will hardly notice what's going on.  If you have a video, you will be able to view what actually happened during the party and when your kid is older, he will be able to watch what happened during his party.  There was a time when my kids would watch their birthday videos daily.

Next on my list is to add more balloons.  Ang happy kasi ng party if there are lots of balloons.  Kids just love balloons.

hi sis! agree ako kay sis marose...

unahin ang video. kasi di ba sabi nila hindi naman maalala ng bday celebrant ang 1st party niya. pero kapag nakita niya ang video, matutuwa siya nun. ganun kasi ang nagyari sa anak ko. hindi naman yung mahal na supplier ang kinuha ko pero gustong gusto talaga panoorin ng anak ko.

ngayon naman na mag 3rd party kami sa jollibee ulit, ang kinuha lang namin ay photo lang. pero ngayon iniisip ko kung kukuha kami ng video. pero ok na sa main ang simple editing lang. kasi maliit lang ang budget namin. katulad mo din na ako ang magdagdag kasi sabi ni hubby ok na ang pics. magdagdag din ako ng balloons para gumanda ng konti ang lugar.

tama video is the best choice - kasi based sa experience ko dumadating ang time ang anak natin magrereminisce nung time na baby sila- madalas nila iopen ang photo album nila, and if you have video, they always wanted to see over and over again, based on my experience kasi I have 2 kids ages 10 and 5, maya maya pag birthday ng isa ask nya ako mommy ganyan din po ba nung birthday ko? kasi conscious sila, dahil di nila maremember because baby pa sila- hehe haba explanation ko noh,

ako sis, pagkakasyahin ko yung 10k sa video and sa decor. para festive and happy tignan yung venue, masarap ang feeling pag pasok ng mga bisita. and kids love balloons. then, yung video hanap ako na maganda pa din mag shoot kahit papano na 3CCD video pa din with lightsman. kahit raw na lang muna. then kapag may budget na uli, saka ako pa edit... i.m.o

I'd go for the video, next in line will be foodcarts/activities.

i agree with mom.of.inchikoy..video n decor.. iba kasi ang aura ng party if festive talaga... maganda sha tignan sa video.. iba din ang mood ng guests if venue has a lot of balloons.. kids n young at heart natutuwa talaga...kuha ka na nga lang ng murang video na 3CCD tas ang editing saka na lang pag me extra budget na,.. but im sure pag anjan na yan isisingit at isisingit ang pagpapaedit

I'd spend the money on video... the wisest choice. You see, after the party its a great feeling to see the pictures and video. Ito yung pinaghirapan at pinagkagastusan na party, you'll see how you're baby and the guests enjoyed theirselves during the event. Spending a bit more on video is worth it

The rest, I'd probably buy more balloons for decor.
