excessive perspiration
« on: March 13, 2010, 02:17:39 pm »
I sweat a lot!! Not just my under arms and feet. I would perspire from my head to my breasts specifically the cleavage part and somewhere near the bra under wire. I'm so frustrated cause only 5 minutes of walking I'll look like I got a shower from my perspiration. I am overweight, I'm only 5'1 and about 140lbs. I know part of the reason why I perspire a lot cause of my weight, me and my bf have noticed most thin persons doesn't sweat a lot. Given that it;s summer and El nino it's been terrible!! Nahihiya na nga ako sa sarili ko dahil haggard lagi itsura ko. I know there's a surgery for this situation pero ayoko paabutin sa ganun and I thought if I do that baka mahirapan ako pumayat. I'm planning to lose weight na rin. What's the best thing to do to control my perspiration? thanks.

For your underarms, i suggest you try Driclor. That's what my derma recommended me before. It's a bit pricey but super effective and worth it! i tried it before and I hardly sweat now. Just use it at night (before bedtime) for two weeks.  It's a bit itchy though, but after that, you won't sweat in that area anymore. If it doesn't work, maybe you can visit a dermatologist. Maybe they can suggest that you do a procedure like botox injection on the area or the surgery that will weaken your sweat glands (or something like that).

For the feet, try Milcu powder. Also effective. :)

Hope this helps.

thanks..  :) Driclor is deo lang talaga? I read somewhere kaso it was years back, merong ginagamit for excessive sweating kahit sa ibang parts ng body. I think it was intended for UA lang pero can be used on other parts of the body. Big problem ko kase when I wear shirt pati sa underwire ng bra medyo bumabakat pawis ko. Nakakahiya na kase.

I think you can use Driclor or Milcu din sa ibang parts.

hi sis!i sweat a lot din but sa hands and feet lang.sobrang nahihiya ako lalo na for my hand kase tlagang parang faucet. i have been looking for a medicine na pwede itake or iapply. i found a multiply site which sells aluminun chloride, a known anti-hydrosis(scientific name ng excessive sweating). i ordered and  found it effective naman. iapply mo lang siya on the affected part and nawawala sweat. i use it mga 2x a day, morning and evening.pansin ko mula nung naglalagay me d na ko masyado sweat.and i don't use it everyday, pag napapansin ko lang na may sweat. ndi na ako yung profusely sweating every minute. try mo sis baka okay din sayo. check mo beauty galore site sa multiply.

@gilenn - nabasa ko dati na excessive sweating can also be caused by hormonal imbalance.. hirap lang sa driclor, dry nga yung part na inapplyan mo pero lilipat yun sa ibang parts..  ;D
