May Island Cove thread pala dito. My mom used to work there.  :) What I like about the place are its amenities. Madaming pwedeng gawin. Sayang nga kasi dati may sports center malapit sa hotel kaya pwede ka mag bowling or billiards. Ngayon convention hall na.

question sisters..

if you avail the deal from CCP, may kasama na ba na room dito? Reviews naman kung ma ok dito kasi plan namin mag team building here. TIA!

edited to add..

I just called hindi daw kasama yung rooms pero we can rent yung cottages nila ranging from 500 -1500. Then for the safety of the valuables may locker rooms daw. Day Tour lang kasi kinuha namin. I forgot to ask kasi... And saan ok kumain and how much ang range? Big servings ba? Sorry takot kami magutom eh hahaha

^last month sis nag overnight kami ni bf. Then we asked the staff bat wala yung round table at chair, sabi eh ibinigay daw dun sa ibang kuarto kasi kinulang daw sila ng table ang chairs. imagine.  :-\ then after awhile bumalik si staff at may dala ng chair. haaay natatawa na naiinis kami ni bf, mag request man kami to change room eh wala na available. Oh well, nag pa spa nalang kami ni bf nung gabi pantanggal stress.

went here last week for hubby's birthday celeb.  sad to say, the place looks old and unkept.  the rooms are too dark and kinda have a spooky feel.  the "buffet" lunch that they serve is limited to only one serving of pork, fish or beef.  you get to eat the salad, soup and dessert the usual buffet style.  the price of the buffet lunch is 399, not including drinks.  that place is a total rip off! they even charge us for 2 adults when it was only my hubby and kid who actually ate! we didnt even dispute the bill. we just paid and got the hell out of that place! the pools are dirty and they are very lenient with the swimming attire as i saw a lot of people wearing tshirts and shorts in the pool.  the water is dirty especially the kid's pool. we wont definitely be coming back here.

We went here last year.  The room we got was on the 2nd floor.  Maayos naman.  We enjoyed our stay in Island Cove a lot.  They have free shuttles to go around the place.  We did not encounter any problems.

over the top ang presyo ng pagkain! we ordered pancit canton na akala namin eh kasya sa apat pero parang pang-isang tao lang yung actual. to think na ang price is 200+ pesos! tas ang halo-halo na wala naman kalaman-laman eh nasa 100+ pesos na! buti sana kung masarap yung food eh hindi naman. tas i agree din dun sa nauna na nagsabi na old and unkept na yung place. yung kwarto namin parang me mumu...haha! yung zoo din hindi maganda, yung mga animals prang napapabayaan na. buti na lang kahit pano nag-enjoy ang kids sa pool nila...

Gosh! Totoo? May mumu! Huhuhu! We're planning to go there with the kids this March. Among the resorts na pinagpilian namin,  Island Cove yung parang pinaka nagugustuhan namin.. Gosh, sobrang takot ako sa multo!

By the way, hindi pa kasi kami maka-decide ng room na kukunin.

http://www.islandcovephil.com/accommodations/two-bedroom-cabana/

Waaah! Scary!!!

this is our go-to place pag na-stranded at baha.  nuong Habagat we stayed here for almost a week.  we always get the room at the 2nd floor, di ko maalala which room but since may record na before na nag stay na kami duon, i would just ask to get the room we had last time.  since we don't stay here during peak days naman, we always get a good room.  siguro pag yun tipong long weekend or summer mahirap kumuha ng room tapos mga panget na. i dunno.

food is not so good.  we usually dine out when we're here.  yun breakfast lang ang kinakain namin dito.

Plano ko kasi kumuha nung 2-bedroom cabana since buong family kami. I just want to make sure na ok yung room.

Any update? Nung nagbabasa kasi ako ng mga post, nung una around 2010 puro positive feedback. nung huli na, mga Sept 2012 up to Jan 2013 puro negative feedback na.

We plan to celebrate 5th year Anniversary pa naman sana dito on July.

Pangit na ba talaga sya?
