^Since the time I arrived in Sg, lalo silang naghihigpit sa mga foreigners. Ngayon ang rule nila mas mataas na salary to qualify for an S pass so I think it will still be the same. I think it's just up to you. Kung yung industry mo naman eh yung hanap nila, why not try regardless kung ngayon pa yan or end of the year :)

@hanson15 not necessarily naman. An spass and an epass holder can both apply for pr. Ang difference lang naman ng spass sa epass aside from the salary is that an epass holder can apply their spouse for dependent pass. An spass holder doesn't have that benefit.

@ghienamarie, same as my reply to hanson15. Pero sis, you have to be fair to the employer din naman, you can't say na willing kang magbook ng flight basta sure na may trabaho ka. Kasi kahit gusto ka nila i-hire, they still have to apply the pass for you, and that's not within their control, its up to the govt na.

Good luck!

I suggest kasi now panlaban natin sa kanila is degree. yung mga degree holders nga nareject pa. What you can do you can check on mom.gov.sg then check yung kinds of pass then may assesment don. don mo rin macheck if you can be qualified to get a pass. but this assesment is not an assurance. basa basa sa mom na site. :)

Sis, SPass holders can also apply dependant's pass for their spouses or children, provided they meet the requirements. My hubby is on SPass pero naka-dp kaming mag-iina.

Grabe..

Paano kayo nag-aapply sa Singapore? Kasi I'm doing it now via Jobstreet at Jobsdb pero wala naman sumasagot. May other way ba apart from going to Singapore mismo? May nahihire ba talaga thru online?

im suppose to go to SG for jobhunting by feb 2012 kaso back out ako kasi nga dahil sa higpit nila ngayon. yung frend ko after 4mos pa nakahanap tapos SPass lang binigay sa kanya.
