rcgit is also a good company but a little low when it comes to compensation and might require you to sign a bond..

^ sis, one of my friends is working at IBM. sabi nya wala daw retirement benefits at ibm. so even if magtagal ang employee dun, wala daw aasahan na retirement...

Ive work in accenture before.. If you prioritize your career than having a work life balance, then go for accenture. Nasa standards naman ang pay nila. Don't worry kasi maganda ang benefits nila. Pag kinompute mo yung gross salary plus benefits. I can tell competitive ang accenture. But you have to sacrifice work life balance and minsan may weekend work. Based from their motto "best People" and "High Performance delivered". Yun ang ibig sabihin ng motto nila. Medyo stressful. But i can say is Accenture is a good company to work for.

Of course the pioneer in the industry

HP, IBM, Accenture

- at par salary with good benefits package, practice work life balance with work from home option, a good company to retire

Most of the company's value their people. Pero sympre business first bago tao. Nature na to ng buhay. The retrenchment is due to the US recession and we should also understand the company na hindi rin nila ginusto na mawalan ng business/projects. It's not only the employee's loss but the company as well.

@sassyme - RCG IT offers high compensation but mostly night shift works and contractual ang position available sa kanila.

I'm not sure about work environment though.

Wala pa naman ako naririnig na negative feedback from RCG.

I'm looking for a very good IT company din not for me but for my hubby.

Brother ko and cousin ko and hubby ko puro IT kaya medyo may idea ako sa mga companies.

RCG offers high compensation pero contractual ...yung hubby ng friend ko wala pa yata one month sa RCG na deploy na sa states for 2months.
HP - mostly daw dapat marunong ng SAP
Accenture - stressful but okay ang benefits pero just like what our sis said kapag hindi ka okay tanggal ka talaga....yung bilas ng sis in-law ko got pregnant and need niya magbed rest until she gave birth wala ng binalikan to think senior manager pa siya.
Headstrong- nice company , my brother used to be a Senior consultant here but sabi niya maliit lang ang headstrong and due to the recession sa US parang hire and fire na lang sila.
ADB -mataas ang sweldo pero under contractor ang mga IT nila. so no benefits.
MISYS- nice company to start with pero medyo kuripot din sa sweldo honestly...my friend was the employee of the year here tapos ang increase eh 14php lang!
Fujitsu- maganda ang training pero maliit din ang salary.
Lawson- hindi ganun kalaki ang sweldo pero yung elementary classmates ko kung saan saang parte na ng mundo nakarating

IT Managers- mataas ang sweldo pero hire and fire din according to my cousin.

^grabe naman yun sis. i applied at MISYS pa naman, di pa lang ako natatawagan for interview.. hehe. i think they have that 4 hour parity test, wow ah..

before, it was my dream that the company i work for sends me to other countries as part of my work. now, when the opprotunity is just within reach, i'm avoding it. parang gusto ko pag-ipunan na lang ang plane fare at pure vacation ang gagawin ko sa ibang bansa kaysa ma-pressure sa work heheh...

hi po! im katrina aquino.. sana po matulungan nyo ako maipasok sa mga companies like hp, ibm, macquarie. i came from accenture at ayun nga sabi nyo they terminate people at isa ako dun, 2months lang po ako dun. sana po matulungan nyo ko kasi alam ko na nasa IT ang pera. gusto ko na po magwork. pang entry level position pero ayoko po sana magcall center, salamat po sa inyo. feel free to send me emails here katrina_aquino2000@yahoo.com

all mentioned companies are good so far, hearing both good and bad feedbacks, depending on your priority, salary, benefits, work-life balance, telecommute, etc...
suggest ko na rin ang Rivereo, Netsuite, Cormant, NNIT?NIIT?
the rest are consulting/bodyshopping na like Archon...

ask ko lang, sa dami ng IT fields, ano pinaka-madaling skill or position and yet mataas ang sahod?
so far kasi, sa tingin ko SAP is the easiest to learn and do (compared to java, c#, vb, php, etc), most expensive when it comes to formal training, and has a high salary as a SAP Professional.

Is SAP similar to NETSUITE? SALESFORCE? alam ko kasi mga ERP tools yan.

I submitted a CV here and they got back to me for an IT post and I'm waiting for feedback na. It is a 3rd party type of recruitment.
