hi girls, umabot ako until interview with the regional manager at GSK. masyadong maselan yung manager.
May allowance naman pero after the training pa makukuha.

Saka daig mo pa nasa isang community or organization na puro chismisan which is we all know na hindi healthy na maging working environment. Dont go to DYNA DRUG CORPORATION girls.

Notnecessarily, sis. If the interviewer asks in English, answer in English. If not, by all means, puwede mag-Tagalog. And in he real world naman kapag nasa field ka na, taglish na when you talk to the doctors. :)

Funny how we've been so ga** over something...then later on, you'll just laugh it off and think how and why you ever did that.

Hi girls! Im not a medrep pero may boyfriend is. Im just worried. Weve been together for 6 years and this is the first time ng magkakahiwalay kami. during trainings bigira kami mgkausap, lagi sya busy. No text the whole day. Pag sa gabi, pagod na sya he cant talk. Im a medstudent. So at some point, di ko rin maintindihan at di ako mkarelate. Supportive [textspeak!] ako mula nung application hanggang end of training. Not to mention na mejo takot din ako dahil baka magkaroon ng affairs or what.  Any tips and insights? Help! :)

^hindi sa dinidiscourage kita diba? But I can feel you my ex is a med rep we've been together for 4 years and sobrang daming nagbago nung naging ahente sya. true yang super busy na wala na syang masyadong time talaga. well it depends pa din naman

Do you guys consider being a med rep/sales rep a stable job? I mean maganda bang career path to? I am an accountant but I want to try field work because I sometimes I find my job boring as hell!

Personally, I dont find this industry stable.   Unless you can handle extreme stress and pressure on the sales plus the lack of work/life balance.

With the merging of companies, parang walang security of tenure din.

I think this is the best industry as a start at 20's because it will help develop interpersonal skills, IQ and EQ.  Then after that move na to more opportunities.

Daily activity comprises mostly of visiting doctors to make chika and to promote products, and in your bf's case, booking orders(bec hie's with vaccines). Depends on the area, pwedeng madaming travel time, from one clinic/hosp, to another. There's also the long waiting time, so you get to chat with other reps and/or docs' secretaries. There are times you have to service doctors, dine them out, join them with their
hobbies.

I think it's being in the right company at the right time, going for the ones na may line up ng bagong products :)

Other companies would send email "thank you but..." theme.

While others, if walang communication meaning di successful.

If may natanggap na kasabay mo, baka nakapili na sila.  Before, gsk didnt communicate if sa mga di nila napili.
