^ You look good! I also just started doing insanity last week, and the workout is really insane. Although I feel stronger everyday and I already see definition in my abs.  :D Please do share your diet plan, kase Im having a hard time with that eh. It says I have to eat 1700 cals, but Im not used to eating that much, although I try kase according to my research, there are some people who dont get the results they expect from this workout because they are not eating as much as they need to. Im getting married in 3 months time so sana thats enough time for me to firm up my prob areas. Im planning to restart the 2nd part of insanity once Im done with the whole thing para Im super fit na by that time.  :D

what worked for me is insanity, heavy weights workout, strict dieting. tapos sabayan mo pa ng tanner eh perfect beach body yan..

 i remember nga nung nasa beach kami during that pictorial. people take glances. tapos nung naglalakad kami sa pier ng naka trunks lang, naku akala nila model or artista haha.

well mahirap talaga insanity nakakaiyak tapos yung diet pa na sobrang strict. pero ang results naman is gratifying din. no pain no gain lol

Iba pala taong nadownload ko mas bago, Insanity The Asylum. Mas maraming plank position, hirap pa naman ako sa planking pero nagawa ko naman kasi sa 30DS may planking din. I might try turbo fire first. kailangang mawala ang muffin top! :D

awww, di ko pa nattry yang asylum, andami kasing equipments na kelangan. tho meron naman ako pullups and dumbbels.. i only do the original insanity, mga 8 months na rin..

Finally had the courage to do the Fit Test for Insanity today. I've done Ripped in 30 by Jillian Michaels before the holidays, and I've been doing Hip Hop Abs just this week, so I decided to test myself :)

It was super tiring but I overcame it!

Switch Kicks: 73
Power Jacks: 45
Power Knees: 66
Power Jumps: 28
Globe Jumps: 11
Suicide Jumps: 19
Push-Up Jacks: 25
Low Plank Obliques: 31

I don't think I'll be able to do the program religiously nga lang. I'm planning to do Hip Hop Abs for the whole month then pasingit-singit ng Insanity maybe 2x or 3x a week.

Mayroon pa bang nagi-Insanity sa inyo? Kaka-start ko lang yesterday - March 5, 2012, gusto ko sana ng may kasabay :)

Current Weight and Measurements:

Weight: 73 Kg
Chest: 41 inches
R. Arm: 15 inches
L. Arm: 14.5 inches (weird tho)
Waist: 35 inches
Hips: 40.5 inches
R. Thigh: 25 inches
L. Thigh: 24.8 inches (laging maliit Left part ko >_<)



My First Insanity Fitness Test - 5:20AM

Switch Kicks - 50
Power Jacks - 40
Power Knee - 50
Power Jumps - 26
Globe Jumps - 8
Suicide Jumps - 10
Push-up Jacks - 15
Low Plank Oblique - 25

I did low numbers today maybe I will improve after 2 weeks, No! Not maybe but will definitely improve!

Experience: While I am doing the fitness test I got dizzy and vomit - water tho, maybe the water I am drinking while exercising. Lol

Lesson Learned: Eat properly, fuel your body! Sleep! Rest!

Today is Plyometrics :)

I just started with the Insanity work out today and my fit test results are kinda pitiful maybe because I havent worked out in a week:

switch kicks - 74
power jacks - 30
power knees - 60
power jump - 15
globe jumps - 5
suicide jump - 13
push up jack -15
low plank obliques - 20

Pero this workout is challenging. I'm really bored with JM's videos and good thing I decided to try this out. Gotta dig deep!!!

Bumalik ako sa 30DS kaso parang naimmune na katawan ko, di na challenging. So I tried insanity fast and furious version kaninang umaga. grabe tagaktak ang pawis ko, hindi ko nagawa lahat sobrang nakakapagod pero very challenging. will stick with this. I'll just modify some movements and work at my own pace.

Super hirap ako sa insanity kase mahina talaga ko sa cardio pero napapansin ko na unti-unting nagbbuild yung capacity ko. My prob lang is since nasanay ako sa circuits ni Jillian Michaels na may weights and targeted muscles, parang napapansin ko na nawawala na ulit yung firmness ng arms and thighs ko. Magiging tight din ba overall through insanity?

^allot separate time for weights workout. It will be time consuming but results are far better than yung incorporated workouts

I'm still under the 30 DS, tinry ko icombine itong Insanity so far nakaya ko naman. Hingal aso nga lang ako kasi ang daming talon talon at planking moments pero I like it! I like the sore feeling afterwards eh. Can't wait matapos itong 30 DS, and then I'll start the Insanity.

dapat it's my 3rd day doing insanity kaso di kaya ng katawan ko, sakit ng mga muscles ko. rest muna then will do it again tomorrow. thanks sa tips qt_ben17 re: weights workout. like twelvth_goddess nasanay din ako kay JM. siguro for now yun na lang muna gawin ko at least nakakaworkout pa rin kahit pahinga kay insanity :)

ideally one major body part per weight,  6 days a week max. 1 day rest

to give you an idea:
mon - shoulders
tue - back,
wed - traps, calves
thurs - biceps
fri - triceps,
sat- legs (squats, deadlifts or leg press), 
sun - rest

legs are considered the heaviest day, since ito yung magiinvolve ng heaviest weight. kaya pwedeng itapat
ang leg weight workout sa cardio recovery ng insanity para hindi masyadong penalized ang legs. make adjustment nalang
sa sched ng insanity

I started this week's Insanity workout with the second fit test. May progress naman so far:

Power jacks - 45
Power knees - 75
Power jump - 17
Globe jump- 8
Suicide jump- 17
Push up jack - 20
Low plank oblique - 50

I'm starting to feel the result na din especially sa lower body. I love cardio recovery and cardio abs cus it incorporates a lot of leg work too. I feel stronger din and mas nakaka-endure nako ng routines although hinde ko pa din sila kaya sabayan talaga. Sa warm up at least nakaka-2 rounds ako na non-stop. Hina ko talaga sa cardio pero that's one of my goals din naman kase yung tumaas yung endurance ko sa cardio and plyo :)
