count me in too. natural na wavy yung hair ko. gustong gusto din siya ng mga friends ko and i agree madalas nilang tanungin kung nagpapa set ako ng hair. napansin din nga ni doc martires yung hair ko, ganda daw. flattered naman ako.  ;D

i've heard from a stylist na naglelecture sa mother ko na ang mga kulot daw hindi nadidistribute and oil ng maayos sa hair so stuck lang sa may root so does this means na pwede lagyan ng oil ang ends ng hair para hindi magmukhang dry? im still enjoying my curly hair and pinapaabot ko sa waistline ala mexican-heroine sa telenovela style although nagdrydry talaga un ends. i'm currently experimenting on putting oil sa ends para pumantay sa hair malapit sa roots.  mas lalong kumulot nga lang un ends.

I got tired also, doing straightening on my hair, ang hirap kumilos, d mo matali always nakalugay lang, finally decided to stop it, nagpakulay nalang me ng hair at ang ganda pala na curly hair na may kulay, alaga lang ng conditioner para hindi buhaghag.

Curly here too!

I read somewhere na ang kalaban ng curly hair is humidity - meaning our normal weather here sa Pinas. So look for a Moisturizing shampoo talaga and invest in products! I do the sampoo-conditioner-hair cream-mousse combo.

There's the VO5 mousse for curly hair which is really nice to set your curls in place. Pero I don't reccomend it daily kasi nakaka dandruff sya eventually.

ako wavy hair din, pero paminsan, i use hot iron para maging straight ang hair. feeling ko kasi ang gulo ng buhok ko pag i leave it as is. sabi nung iba, ang ganda nga daw ng kulot kulotan effect (minsan kasi i do my hair in a bun maski basa basa, tpos pag tinanggal ko na [textspeak!] tali, kulot kulotan na [textspeak!]) - pero i still find it messy. pero masmaganda nga daw kesa dun sa straight hair... i'm still slowly embracing my wavy hair (dati kasi [textspeak!] straight hair ako nung bata, pero pinakulot ni mother nung bata pa ko so naging wavy na sha for life).

post lang kayo ng mga tips on how to take care of this kind of hair :)

natawa naman ako sa term "KULOTCHINA" haha

i have a girl bestfriend who likes her permed hair so much. naturally curly hair din siya, pero thin.  when I did the rebond to her ages ago, masyadong flat looking sa kanya.  then eto na, pinerm ko na. ayun, she loved it so much. sabi ko nga eh, rebond ko uli kasi nabobore na ako sa look niyang kulotchina, LOL. pero ayaw niya. she intend to stay that way coz it brings out the strong, sexy character in her. okay fine.

I have a wavy hair, i tried doing what the curly head here does, put a cream then go, but it doesn't look good at all. ang lagkit ngcream and some hair still strand out. i know im doing it wrong... what makes it look perfect? anong cream ang gamit nyo? is it also malagkit? nahihiya kasi ako when somebody touches my hair..

hot oil once a week maintains moisture in my swirls ;D i love the effect. perfect swirls talaga.

lagi ako natatanong kung pinakulot ko daw ba. kasi parang pinakulot ;D and right. mas mags-stand out ang mga kulotchina pag may color ang hair. :) lalo na pag brown-red shades. ;)

Hi girls, I really need your help. I'm looking for a stylist na magaling sa wavy, curly hair. Yung not so pricey pero super ok. Im tired na kasi of having my hair rebonded kasi sobra nasisira hair ko and naglalagas. I'd appreciate your suggestions. Thanks  ;D

Hi!

I want to share kung ano estado ng buhok ko. I was born with a straight hair, pero I really don't know what happened at biglang naging curly na. It's not really curly na paround ang kulot, pero waves lang at some part. I hate my hair, super, if you know how a witch looks like, ganun ang buhok ko. Lahat na nagawa ko para ayusin sya pero wala talaga. Rebond na lang ang solusyon ng buhok ko. Super gastos. And nakakainis pag tumutubo na yung bagong buhok.

I have the same question as Napolde. I've read in a blog that Alex Carbonell is good with wavy hair. But I'm looking for other options. Anymore recommendations?

si mr shin. :) kasi before he perms the hair, he does the slide cutting. parang layered ang effect nun. at talagang lilitaw ang mga waves mo dun, enhanced talaga ang mga kulotchina :)

ouidad cut ata tawag dun, slice, and slide :)

^Thanks for the info qt_ben. Will try to go there pag nagbakasyon ako sa Pinas.

Ako naman nagsawa na to be always getting the ""Huweee.." reaction from people kaya pag tinatanong ako sinasabi ko na lang na nagpakulot ako para matigil na,hmp.

Sarap maging kulotchina di ba? ;)

palayer niyo.

;D I've been born with curly-wavy hair and ngayon ko lang siya naappreciate, dahil nauso na yung curly hehe. When I was in  high school forever akong naka-pony tail since hindi ako nagagandahan sa hair ko. When I went into college, I used to have it relaxed until such time na nagsawa na rin ako sa gastos. Then nung hinayaan ko na lang siya kumulot and mag-wavy, natawa ako sa classmates ko because they were asking me if nagpakulot daw ako kasi ang ganda ng hair ko. haha. though hindi siya yung korean like curly hair.

what I do now is I use normal shampoo and conditioner tapos blowdry yung harap na part lang then semi-dry lang yung ibang areas. Then I tie it to a bun. When I get to the school dati, now office, nilulugay ko na. Kapag air dry kasi, nagffrizz. Depende din sa trip ng buhok ko minsan maganda, minsan so-so lang. pero at least love ko na hair ko ngayon, hindi ko na siya ipaparelax, kasi kapag treated sa simula lang maganda hehe.
