i also have curly hair, the big ringlet kind. i got called goldilocks a lot as a kid. it annoys me when people touch it though, so i usually just pull my hair straight back and up in a bun every day. people are actually surprised to find out i have curly hair, until they go to the beach with me or see my hair after i get caught in the rain LOL.
it sucks na there's very few products for curly hair here. even drugstore brands like pantene, wala padin. i have to ask pa from relatives to bring me back shampoo from abroad. i mean, who asks for shampoo as pasalubong?!?
i use shampoos/conditioners for dry or damaged hair instead so that my hair is super moisturized and frizz free. i don't have to use any serums or creams na after. mas tipid, IMO.
where do you guys get your hair cut? may nagsspecialize ba in curly hair? i'm so tired of stylists cutting it all one length, which in my experience just leads to triangle-head. parang they can't cut my hair any other way. hay. and the worst was the stylist who insisted on giving me a vidal sassoon haircut! i looked like little orphan annie/ the kid on the alaska evap can for weeks! no freakin joke.
i was thinking of tony and jackey, pero that's permed hair, right? not naturally curly? i'm still on the fence whether to get my hair cut by dudes who don't speak english. yung naiintindihan na nga ako hindi parin maganda yung gupit, what more yung hindi ako naiintindihan?
