I use SUN. :)  I've tried GLOBE and it sucks big time!

I live in Mandaluyong btw. Best to check if the broadband has good signal in the area where you'll be using it.

i have both globe and smart na prepaid, all  can say is that the smart one works a lot better than the globe one.

my mom has the sun postpaid, it is far superior to both smart and globe, pero it might be because my mom's sun is the postpaid variant. pag lipat ko sa condo imma be getting a sun postpaid na din. it'll be a lot more convinient than subscribing to a landline-based broadband
they say i look good. trust me, i taste even better! :D

Ang feedback ng cousin ko is better nga daw ang Sun postpaid na broadband kaysa sa prepaid.  Globe daw okay-okay lang, depende sa place.

I got both Globe and Smart, sa  Bulacan kasi kami, I'm not yet sure kung maganda signal ng Sun dito.

i have sun and so far, i'm ok with it. kahit sa location namin na pasig/cainta boundary, mahirap ang signal sa baba ng unit namin pero sa room, malakas. i can even download movies or series. when we went to cagayan de oro, abah!! very strong signal anywhere. kahit nasa banyo ako, nakakalive stream ako. nung nasa cdo din kami yung tita ko has smart. smart, which is surprisingly walang problem sa signal, madalas nagkakaintermittent. when my tita found out that our sun was more reliable, she switched na. my sister also bought sun dsl.
I am happy. I am blessed. I feel loved. I am in love.

i've tried globe and it really sucks big time! we switched to sun more than a year ago and it's way much better than globe. makati area. of course there are times that it's slow, but most of the time it's fast naman.

currently using globe, it has it's good and bad days sa connection, pero most of the time okay naman, okay na din ang speed. i'm using the prepaid tattoo. will switch to sun soon, the pocket wifi postpaid. last week lang kasi ako nakapunta ng sun shop and napa check if may signal na sa place namin, so ayun, will go back to submit my application later.

I am currently using Globe Tattoo Sonic, but the speed is really slow.  :-[ I am thinking of switching to Sun Broadband, instead. I reside in Bambang, Pasig. Any suggestions?

It depends on the location. You can't really say which one is better.

I own Smart and Globe. I live in Baguio.

On some locations one of them would not work, but on another location, the other provider would be better.

For most places in Baguio, Smart is the best to have. Mas malaki ang coverage. Even if I drive out doon sa may boundaries and adjoining provinces may signal pa ang Smart. Yung Globe wala na.

Globe only works well kung nasa city proper/business district and could be faster than Smart. Beyond that place, mahina na ang Globe.

So you see, depending on the location, I could just say one or the other really sucks!

I haven't tried Sun, but I've read a lot of positive feedback from those users who actually used it here.

But if you really need a stable internet, don't get a plug and play ones. Better pay monthly for the wired internet ones from PLDT, Bayantel, GlobeDSL, etc. They work even in adverse weather.

hi sisses... I'm sorry if is is not the right place to post this,...pero parang may mga knowledge naman kayo sa Internet connection...
I'm from overseas. I'm flying back to the Philippines and staying there for a month. I'm bringing with me a laptop, iPad & an iphone.  ano ba ang ma-re-recommend nyo na prepaid sim/internet connection para sa mga gadgets ko? I'll be staying sa las pinas.  buti na Lang I come across this topic.  globe ang ni recommend sa ken. ang panget pala ng feedback sa globe.

Surprisingly, mas mabilis yung plug and play broadband ng smart kesa dun sa typical broadband ng smart namin (though may router kasi for wifi ng ibang gadgets)..

Will try sun dahil sa sister ko yung smart plug n play :)

San ka sa Pasig, sis? I am from Bambang. Parang lalo ako na-encourage na magswitch to SmartBRO. I also have Sun, though yung modem kasi ng Sun, hindi ganun ka-high end yung specs. I am planning to get the SmartBRO Rocket Plug-it. Thanks.  :)

How about in Commonwealth..any feedback? We have PLDT dsl but there were 3 distruptions now within a month. I have a homebased job so I really need kahit at least 300 kb connection basta hindi napuputol. It will just be a backup connection pag may diprensya pldt namin kasi sayang kita ko in a day :(

We are located within the boundary of Cainta and Pasig areas. Before super bagal talaga ng sun nakakainit ng ulo. Kaya yung plan ko na 60 hours per month hindi ko pa ata nagagamit kahit half every month sa sobrang bagal. Pero recently gulat ako sa laki ng improvement nila ha. Sun texted an advisory na they have stronger signal in Pasig, QC areas and true enough, mas bumilis nga talaga. Before kahit email sobrang bagal before ko ma open. Ngayon nakakapag youtube na ko and upload ng pictures sa FB and my kids can now play online games. So satisfied na ko sa sun.

^Hi sis, where in QC are you from? Sa amin kasi mahina ang Smart and Globe and I just applied for a Sun line, hopefully mas mabilis.
