just want you to share your unforgettable experiences.  I'll start..

One night, I was unable to see the yellow signal light along Paseo de Roxas.  I just stopped nung red na and hindi ko namalayan na I am in the middle of Greenbelt - Paseo de Roxas intersection na pala.  Nahuli ako ng mga brown guys (MMDA yata yun or whatever) and I paid 500.    What a night!!

july 3, 2003- i remember the date because i had just come from honda alabang to get my then brand-new car. i was on ayala avenue stopped on a red light and i saw my friend's car 2 cars ahead of me. i called him to say i was behind him.

walang tint pa yung kotse ko and di ko napansin may makati police pala sa may intersection so kitang-kita i was talking on the phone. huli ako. akala ko ok lang kasi stop naman pero hindi daw.

unforgettable ito for me kasi first time ko nahuli ng police. nagpa-ticket ako.

hi clueless, is it okay to use an earpiece? Ganun kasi ginagawa ko para mas safe though ayaw ng husband ko.

here in manila, i think using a hands-free kit is ok.

but the company i work for does not allow this as well. pag nahuli ako, ground for suspension/termination pa yon. so now talagang i don't use my cel phone while driving.

may understanding naman kami ng family members and friends ko. if i don't answer a call, it's because i'm in the bathroom, in a meeting or driving. if it's urgent, they call again so i try to pick up. if it's not urgent, they know i will call them the first chance i get.

my unforgettable experience happened 2 weeks ago.asa gitna ako ng 2 truck. e sobrang bagal nya, so nag overtake ako kahit blind curve kasi inip na inip na talaga ko.pag overtake ko,ayun me tric ako kasalubong..waaa sobrang galit talaga nung tric driver.haha ayun since then,di na ko madalas nagovertake..kahit sobrang bagal yung nasa unahan ko.

Had a real bad cold and took 2 tabs of Decolgen one afternoon few years way back.  Was driving along Edsa going to St Lukes, QC from Makati, I started feeling drowsy as in di ko mapigil ang antok ko.  Really really scary, good thing the traffic was slow.  I was on the extreme left lane nearing the flyover to La Salle, Greenhills when I felt and heard a soft thud, that was when I realized I bumped the rear of a taxi.  That got me really wide-awake!  I was lucky, the taxi driver was really nice.  That's why from then on, I make sure I don't take meds which contain 'ingredients' that may cause drowsiness side-effect before going behind the wheel.

Actually, this is not an experience while driving, but while our car is parked inside the village..but since equally unforgettable, i just want to share this.

it just happened earlier when we went to church. we had our car parked as usual at the side of the road near the church. eh medyo dami ng naka park kanina so nakapark kami sa medyo maliit na space na lang in front of a house. pero we did not blocked the driveway kaya lang parang sakto na sa edge ng garahe nila yung rear ng kotse, but not as if they cannot drive the car in and out of the garage.

The mass is 2 hours so madilim na paglabas namin. When we went to the car, we noticed a man and a woman looking at us. So we ignore them na lang. Later pagliko namin, we discovered we had 2 flat tires. Since hindi kami pareho sanay ni husband pa magdrive hindi namin agad naramdaman. Buti hindi pa malayo naitakbo namin so hindi naman nasira interior ng gulong, we just had them vulcanized. Our 2 kids are with us pa ha, one is a toddler pa lang, isang 5 years old. So we had to take a tricylce to go home before my husband went to the vulcanizing shop.

Nakakapanghina lang kasi may mga taong masasama talaga ang ugali. To think that we live in an executive village where homeowners have really big houses and look educated and really well-off ha. Duda namin yung may ari ng bahay na malapit sa pinag parkingan namin eh. Kung hindi bakit nila kami tinitingnan. But we don't have any proof so mahirap mang away naman. Now i know bakit may nagkakapatayan while driving, kasi may mga tao talagang masama ang ugali. Hope makunsensya sila nakita nila sumasakay kami ng kotse na may karay karay pang dalawang bata. But i don't think people like those have conscience. Hope they earn their karma na lang for what theyve done.

Ohhh! I've so many.

The first time I got hit by a truck.
It was along Katipunan road, I was with 2 of my friends, we were on our way to KFC. There was traffic at that time, I was in the Uturn slot in front of Miriam, I was in front and then suddenly this truck made siksik sa left and it hit my car, super nabadtrip ako inaway ko talaga yun driver. I called my dad and when he arrived at the "scene", guess what he did! he just told the driver, "Osige boss! Okay na yan, wala naman tayo magagawa eh!" Kamusta naman! Nagkaroon kami ng emotional damage!

Second time was in Marcos Highway. I was pointing to my friend the way to go to eastwood, I didn't know that the motorcycle in front of me suddenly stopped, so yun nabangga ko siya, muntik ng lumipad yun driver. Buti nalang nadaan lang sila sa sorry ko.

Third time. My friends and their parents usually let me drive their cars, cause they trust me the most! LOL Anyway, one time, my friends and I went to Highstreet, we brought my friend's car, pick-up na walang headlights. It was around 12 na, tapos my friend who owns the car was so sleepy na, since hindi na niya kaya idrive ako pinagdrive nila. No headlights, no anything! As in busina lang! Eh brave ako, sa EDSA pa kami dumaan!

go pa sa may mayapis area papuntang ayala. nasa tamang lane ako kaso sumingit 1 car sa harap ko at nakalagpas sya ng stop light ng orange. since di ko napansin na orange na paglagpas ko red na. na sa gitna ko ng  daan as in!!! sa buendia cor ayala yun un malapit sa rcbc na. tapos hinito ko ng trafic enforcer sabi stopppp na!! imagine nagreverse ko na halaos lahat ng tao nakatingin sa akin. pwedi naman palagpasin ko kc nasa gitna na ko. kakahiya!!! hehe

I was on a 4 lane road running at at least 80kph, prolly 100kph, when a van far ahead of me suddenly spewed smoke. The smoke scattered quickly and visibility turned to zero.

I was so scared because we were all traveling quite fast.so i slowed down, turned on head lights, hazard lights, and sounded my horn with small intermittent beeps and turned right on the first road i saw. getting out of the highway was my priority. i didn't want to be part of a chain of crashes.

good thing every one slowed down and turned their lights on.

^^ang unfair naman ng traffic enforcer! eh nung nag kulay pula ang traffic light, nasa gitna ka na ng kalye, ano naman gusto nya mangyari, mag stop ka sa gitna ng kalye? hehe.

when the traffic enforcer asked money from us, P2k.  tinawaran nga namin ng P500, ayaw.  bumigay na lang kami kasi kukunin daw license and hindi na daw mada-drive yung car the next day kasi no license na.  eh malapit na yung schedule ng vaccine ni baby, mahirap magcommute.  kaya bumigay na lang kami ng money para less hassle.  kasi mag-aabsent pa si hubby nyan para makuha lang license.  hindi pa naman sya pwede mag-absent ngayon.

this just happened recently. my friends and i went to Baler. it's my first time to go there and yung friends ko, twice na sila nakapunta dun but d sila nagmaneho. this time, my girl friend brought her Fortuner. 5 kami, 4 girls and my friend's brother para katulong sa pagmamaneho. the road to Baler is very tricky. mind you, we went there without a map so tanong galore kami and just followed the signs. We arrived in Baler safely. But.... on our way back, naligaw kami. oh my! we left kasi Baler at 6pm because we targetted to be in Manila by 11pm kasi may duty pa yung kasama naming magddrive ng 6am. We made a wrong turn, ended up passing the most damaged road in Aurora. We crossed boulders of rocks, streams and deep rivers. ang nakakatakot pa is walang street lights. i was seated at the back most part of the Fortuner eh ang tagtag. 3 hours of off road challenge. grabe, tapos buti na lang madilim kasi makikita mo talaga bangin yung mga nasa gilid. i was at the back nga d ba but i never dared to look at my back. eto pa, may mga streets na may cement pero putol yung tiping 100 meters lang. yung friend ko, since semento, humarurot hanggang sa steel bridge only to find out, putol yung bridge. wala kasing ilaw! tapos some of the men said sa ilalim daw kami dumaan. my gosh, ang lalim na river ha kasi sabi nung mga lalake, ang mga motor daw nila binbuhat. good thing, those angels helped us kung saan kami makakatawid na hindi lulubog yung sasakyan namin. tapos after crossing the river, the road up was like 70 degrees ang anggulo so dapat harurot ka talaga. natatakot pa talaga kami kasi d ba madaming npa's dun. we drove and drove lang hanggang umabot kami ng cabanatuan. natagtag ako sa byahe pero mas nastress yata ako sa mga dinaanan namin.

pagdating pa sa cabanatuan, we asked some police for directions, sabi ba naman sa amin, may dugo daw yung harap ng sasakyan namin. whaaaat? turns out, fruit lang pala na nasagaan ng friend ko kanina. jusko, baka maprecinto pa kami.

Earlier this mornig, my husband asked me to bring him to his office so I can use the car later. His office is located inside Airforce City and STRICT traffice rules are observed. Anyway, On my way out, the traffic enforcer signals a go sign. So i made a left turn. Ayun na, nagwhistle na sya and ask me to stop. Sabi ko bakit? Sabi nya "Mam, wrong lane kayo." sabi ko hindi ko alam. He said na andun ako sa lane for crossing straight and right turn only. Hindi ko talaga na-notice plus it is my first time to drive inside Airforce nga. He ask for my license and so sobrang tense ko, yung PRC license ko pala ang naibigay ko. Sabi nya, may LTO license po kayo? Sabi ko ayan na nga, sabi nya hindi po. So I checked And I immediately gave him my driver's license. Pero syempre puro pakiusap pa ako and sinabi ko nalang na ihahatid ko pa yung son ko sa school at wag nya ako titicketan. Hindi kasi sila nagpapabayad dito so talagang mahirap pag nakuha yung lisensya. We waited for his officer to come and dun nalang daw ako makipagusap. So ayun nga, sabi ko pasensya na hindi ko alam talaga. Nakita naman nila sa license ko na I'm from Rizal and I explained na kakalipat lang namen dito so unaware pa ako. Akala ko hindi magpapa-areglo kasi he get his ballpen and black folder na lagayan ngtickets, pero ang nilabas ay notebook. He ask for my husband's name and where he works, my car's plate number and my name of course. May konting lecture-lecture and he said na 2 violations agad ako but at the end he said na 1st warning na yon. Binalik na nya yun license and he let me go, thank God talaga! Grabe sobra akong nanlalambot afterwards. Looks like I won't be driving again inside Airforce anytime soon. Na-trauma ako don ah! My 2 year old daughter was with me pa kanina...

Have a lot...

- I was late for work and was driving as fast as I can. I usually pass by a very narrow street behind Sta Lucia east which gets me to C5 faster. As I was driving through the street, a man flagged me cus a huge trailer truck was about to make a right turn to park inside a huge lot. Eh I was late nga so nagmamadali ako and I ignored the man. Aba the j3rk tried to stop my car by holding on to the driver's side door, eh naka open windows ako cus I was smoking. I was shocked but I was more furious. Sa gulat ko, nabitawan ko yung yosi tapos ngumi-ngiti ngiti pa ang siraulo at sabe 'sige na miss, ang ganda nyo naman eh'. Sa sobrang bwisit ko, natulak ko sya para bumitaw sa car ko and sinigawan ko na wag mo ko kausapin ang pangit mo ah!

- 2 weeks ago, I was driving along Rosario palabas na ng C5. A green Innova tried to cut me off but hinde ko pinagbigyan. My philosopy kase, nagpapakahirap ako dumiskarte sa pagsingit tapos magpapasingit ako? No way. So in short, no can do. Eh ma-pride sya, for some reason kahit ang luwag ng kalsada, pinipilit nya ko unahan sa C5 ehdi pinabayaan ko lang cus I wasnt in a hurry naman since I had plenty of time. When I was about to get on the C5 flyover, gusto na naman nya sumingit pero unsuccessful na naman sya. I left the Innova behind pagpasok ko ng BGC pero when I was about to make a right papunta ng Zamora circle, he appeared from the street beside SLMC. He tried to cut me off pagpasok ng building namin, I swear para syang baliw. Eh hinde na naman sya nakasingit. Pagdating sa parking slot ko, magkatabi kame naturally since magkasunod kame dumating. Pagbaba ng driver, I realized that he's one of my indirect bosses at work

- Palabas ako ng village namin and was about to make a right turn to Marcos highway. There was a motorbike on my left and a fortuner opposite me. Si motorbike bumusina na kase sya naman talaga dapat mauna. Tuloy-tuloy pa din si fortuner, nabangga nya yung likod ng motor. I didnt see the man but I heard the sound of the crash. I was so traumatized

This happened to me at Gloriette. I turned right on red light going to Makati Avenue and the blue boys flagged me . I asked , anong violation ko? , since right turn naman and  I see a lot of drivers doing right turn on red light. So, bawal daw , so I said okay, I didn't know . Tapos  sabi nung first guy ( the other one was a little  far from us at the back  , naka motorbike)  "Ma'am dito po ba kayo nag wo work . Thinking that he meant if sa Makati ako nag wo-work so I said yes.   Then nagwalkie talkie yung kausap ko doon sa 2nd guy na nasa motorbike saying "dito pala sa Glorietta si ma'am nag wowork"  . Then , may sinabi yung kausap nya and then, sabi sa akin "okay n ma'am , dito naman pala kayo nag wo work". So meaning , kung taga Glorietta ako, okay lang mag violate ng traffic rules?

I woke up late from our afternoon nap and realized that I was running late for work so super madali ako. I drove off in a hurry tapos I felt na there was something wrong with my left front wheel, parang may sumasabit na feeling. I didnt bother to check it anymore kase nagmamadali ako plus it started to rain hard. Nung nasa highway na ko, hinde pa din nawawala yung sabit feeling and I was wondering why my car wont accelerate properly. I stopped by the first gas station and lo and behold, my front left wheel was flat and the mags was just about to pop along with the flat tire. Kung nagmabilis pa ko with the raina nd all and with that wheel condition, I would have gotten into an accident. Thank you God for saving me.

Sharing from my mom's experience on the road last night. Imagine, parents ko na stuck sa daan, buti may Motolite service!

I want to praise Motolite Delivery Service for their very, very good service and staff. I want to thank specifically Dixon Velasco of Motolite Branch 3 in Pasong Tamo. He assisted us (me and my husband) when our battery conked out. Btw, good thing we were at the Fort Global City after delivering documents to my client, and good thing, while it was already 830pm, the place is well lighted with security and no tow truck because its already evening . I called their hotline 370-6686 and Dixon came with his testing kit and a new battery just in case it need to be replaced. He found out, however, that its the alternator that is not working that's why the battery was totally discharged of power. He told us "Huwag ho kayong magalalala hindi ko ho kayo pababayaan, hindi ko ho kayo iiwan dito na hindi umaandar yung kotse nyo!", which my husband keeps on repeating telling me what he said. What he actually said was my favorite verse in the bible in Hebrews 13:5 "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." Anyway, he charged the battery so it can run without headlights and all, and he suggested that we follow him to their office in Pasong Tamo because they have a fastcharger there. He's like our angel from Fort to Pasong Tamo guiding us through the traffic without headlights, aircon, etc. But to make matters worse, we got a flat tire when we reached their office which Dixon gladly replaced with the spare. And when we asked him how much we should pay, he just said "Bahala na ho kayo." Isn't that good service from Motolite?

very, very helpful talaga ang motolite delivery service. we also called their hotline sunday evening to order a new batt for our car. Cainta area kami. QC pa manggagaling yung item and its a Sunday evening ha. Kelangan namin talaga kasi Monday kelangang ihatid ang son ko ng maaga sa school. In less than an hour, nagdodoorbell na si Motolite delivery staff.  Buti na lang naisipan ng motolite ang ganitong service
