UP College of Human Kinetics is offering summer workshops/ fitness classes which commenced mid of April, I think. And that includes swimming plus the rates are really affordable. If you know someone enrolled in or in any way affiliated to UP perhaps as an employee, connect with that person and you get an irresistible discount.

Got intrigued by your post sis. Last time I saw UP's swimming pool was when I was a student there pa. Would you know if the pool is well maintained? :)

ako i swim sa marikina sport park. P40 yung entrance. pero hindi everyday. some weekends lang ako andun and since summertime ngayon meron ako mga nakakasabay na group having swimming lessons. meron mga kids, meron din mga teens/adults. sometimes meron din family. beginner pa lang ako, haven't done full laps yet. most of the time i concentrate on improving my strokes and yung breathing techniques. even if i wanted to do laps pahirapan din kasi daming people sa shallow end ng pool. if i had a choice i'd want to swim sana during the weekdays kaso i work in makati and live in cainta. kinda hassle if i go pa to marikina just to swim.

@pink_five @OD
i wasn't able to ask the instructors nung andun kami last saturday kasi paalis na kami di pa din sila tapos magturo, ayaw ko naman mang-gulo habang asa lessons pa sila.
what i can suggest is to call their office at 943-2137
you can ask from the lifeguard kung how much and ano sked for swimming lessons. dati kasi i asked from there tapos suggestion nila is sa lifeguard ako magtanung, binigay nila yung number but i lost it already. 2k, 10 sessions yung last na alam ko. one on one na to. hindi ko lang kinuha kasi lalake yung instructor and sabi ni boyfie sa instructor na girl na lang daw (meron sa lourdes school manda during summer) ako mag-enroll.

I love swimming!
