ako hindi na-approve ng kahit anong bank...reason is my co-maker (husband) has bad credit record in citibank...so walang tumanggap saming bangko kahit PSBANK..so sad..kahit nga yung mga in house pinatos na namin ganun pa din..oh well..no choice but to avail a car in full cash or second hand..  :'(

It's quite fast. BPI's process was fast and easy, I applied online on a Monday and got the approval the following day. No documents required until you actually avail of the loan and sign the papers. Their rates were quite good also. :)

@Yui_21, my husband also had a bad credit history but we were able to get an approval naman. Maybe it helps if you have an account with the bank (like I did with BPI.)

^^sis leicq, i'm also considering BPI for a car loan. please share naman yung terms mo... please... :) i mean, how much was the loaned amount, magkano ang monthly amortization, and how long?

also, weird question, first time kasi mag-avail ng car loan... kasi di ba pag bibili ka ng car, there's a downpayment, then monthly amortization. pwede bang kasama sa i-loan sa bank yung pang-downpayment? o kailangan talagang bayaran ko in cash yun?

Nagpaquote ako sa BPI kahapon ng MIRAGE
taxfree kasi yung car so the price we got from CarWorld is from original price 548K, our price less tax and company discount is 471,400.

BPI
DP 94,280.
36 mos - 12,107
48mos - 9538.
60mos - 8072.

Di pa ako sure sa Mirage kasi parang di ako nagandahan sa interior nya, Other choices ko SPARK (wait ko muna yung new spark na ilalabas this march), CELERIO and PICANTO.

Any suggention?

If not tax free, regular price sya na 548k kaya mas mataas yung computation.

Here's what we got:

DP: 30%
5yrs: approximately 7.5k monthly

When BPi called again kanina, ang downpayment amount is around P168k pero since may LTO registration pa and etc, aabot sa P200k ang upfront payment. Masyado na malaki, baka hindi na kayanin.

Any other option kaya?

^sis, ang laki kasi ng DP na pina-quote ninyo, 30%. talagang aabutin ng 200K yun. so you really have to choose between "higher downpayment, lower monthly amortization" or "lower downpayment, higher monthly amortization". there really is no other way to get around it. maganda na nga ang BPI auto loan compared sa iba. :)

^oo nga sis eh. kami kasi ang nagsabi ng 30% kasi habol namin talaga is yun lower monthly payment kasi 5 years din yun. We just didn't expect na on top of the DP, ma malaki pang fees na aabutin na kami ng 200k.  :(

^yung mirage kasi dipa ALL IN dun sa 548k. Insurane, lto and chattel mortage aabot ng 46k.

i availed an all in package thru honda agent.. honda city 2013 1.5E kinuha ko.. send my requirements nun monday then approved by tuesday tapos nag dp na ko yesterday at nauwi ko rin agad un unit.. ang bilis ng pangyayari! not bad for me un nakuha kong deal, free lto, chattel, insurance. tapos un accessories like sensor, sun visor, tint free din.. i compared the quotation given by bank vs agent halos same lang ang ilalabas ko na pera.. less hassle pa kc no need na SPA ni hubby (OFW).. :)

Hi!

We also applied for auto loan. Before, Mirage and Vios ang pinagpipilian namin. After much consideration, we chose Vios.
