Do you really need the big steamer? Where can you buy it?
If not, what did you use to improvise?
Thanks in advance :D

I just tried this recipe and was very easy to do! My family loved it..

Ingredients:

3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cup white sugar
3 tbsp baking powder
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup melted butter
3 cups fresh milk (I used alaska fresh milk)
quickmelt cheese (for toppings)

sis ask ko lang sa egg ba sinama mo yung eggyolk? yung iba kasi wala silang eggyolk, eggwhite lang nilalagay. TIA!

bakit ang puto cheese ko ay hit or miss? minsan kasi, my puto shrinks either while nasa steamer pa lang or after nakuha ko na from the steamer.  nakita ko talaga siya na nagshrink at lumiit.  :(  minsan naman, ok siya.

For those who is asking if this can be baked thru oven, yes. All you have to do is put the muffin pan over a bbq pan or big baking pan (yng kasya siempre yng muffin pan, mine i use yng pang macaroons na size) tapos pour nio ng hot / boiling water yng bbq pan, at least half basta di aapaw sa mixture. steam for 10-15 mins @ 175c

Been inventing for puto recipe, minsan halo ko sa mixture yng shredded cheese tapos sa top nia nilalagyan ko ng itlog na maalat. Sarap. Or masarap din if ang ilalagay mo is white cheese. Mejo mahal nga lang but the taste is superb.

Minsan naman yng sugar change ko ng condensed milk, ang creamy. But as for the milk, consistent ako sa freh milk lang, yng full cream fresh milk. Ito din gamit ko sa leche flan (OT). hehe. Natural and mas healthy kasi.

Hit sa kids ang puto pag me color. Parang sa goldilocks.

tips lang po mga sisses, medyo maselan kasi ang pag cook ng puto kesa kuchinta. so make sure di ma over ng halo yung batter nyo at huwag bukas ng bukas ng steamer kasi babagsak din ang puto nyo at magiging "puchinta".. hth ;)

I tried this yesterday. Unsuccessful. Lol ! I'm not satisfied with the result hindi sya umalsa. Maybe because of using wrong ingredients. Here's the ingredients I used:

■4 cups rice flour, sifted
■2 cups sugar, sifted
■2 1/2 tbsp baking powder
■1 cup evaporated milk
■2 1/2 cups water
■1/2 cup butter, melted
■1 piece egg, raw
■small slices of cheese
■4 cups water (for steaming)

Then this morning I used all purpose flour instead of rice flour. The result is good. But still I want to improve the taste. Sa ibang recipe na nakita ko gumagamit sila ng coconut milk, what's the difference ? Thanks.
