^Its because people don't want to admit na replica nga yun haha Iniinsist pa rin kasi na Singapore-manufactured perfumes ay original kahit logic would say otherwise.

That's what I've been pointing out too na bakit inout ni sister supplier si brother supplier. How can we be sure na yung benta ni sister supplier eh original compared dun kay brother na fake pala.

Ayan, hahaba nanaman yung usapan.

my take on this, if it's not from the original distributor (rustans) it's most probably fake.

why buy a cheaper version if you're not sure of its authenticity.

Versions are not originals. If these are originals, they wont be called versions in the first place.

@sis stuffsinhere

welcome to the thread sis!

i think isa sa naging issue dito is the difference between SINGAPORE ORIGINAL perfumes and SINGAPORE MANUFACTURED perfumes.

as quoted above: "refresher: may SG originals, may SG versions. And the originals are authentic and manufactured in SG, and the versions are the class aaa replica. :)"

what is your opinion regarding this? nakakalito na kasi. pag sinabi bang sg originals it means authentic perfumes sila kahit manufactured sa singapore? or replica or imitation as what you've said? because you said "Singapore means it is a Replica of those Imported Perfumes made from France/US.." then lumalabas hindi nga authentic ang singapore made perfumes ke singapore original or singapore version pa ang itawag dun.

marami kasi for sale ngayon na "singapore made perfumes" - there is that distinction na singapore original/authentic  ang mga perfumes. so what does that mean? bakit hindi na lang diretsuhin na sabihin na imitation perfumes ang mga iyon? kahit kasi sa description ng isa sa mga suppliers ng sis natin dito eh hindi talaga mabitawan yung salita na imitation yung sinasabing singapore original perfumes na binebenta nila.

wala naman actually masama if people sell sg originals/testers/sg made perfumes as long as there is full disclosure.

hi sis.. thanks for the welcome..

as my personal opinion po about it, there is really a Singapore-made perfumes talaga.. kasi i have a cousin working at singapore po, so they told me na may manufactured na orig singapore perfumes talaga..
but if you would ask me about the branded perfumes na alam nating lahat at mga binibili natin ng worth 2k-4k, tapos makikita mo online na hindi siya umaabot ng 1k, yun yung mga replicas from singapore.. come to think of it, if its really Orig and Manufactured at Singapore, bakit ang nakalagay sa bottle, from France or US siya?
Honestly, i don't see any wrong about buying Singapore versions/made/manufactured perfumes, as long as you know where it came from dba... and btw, some malls are also selling Singapore Versions Perfumes.. kaya beware din po kayo, especially kapag on-"SALE" sila, karamihan ng nilalabas nila, from singapore po..

=)

^ eh how do we explain yung mababang quality? like the staying power and all? kung parehas ang quality dali lang sabihin na puslit sila eh, kaso kung magkaiba ang quality, ibang usapan na yun.

^^^Pero how about those authorized distributors like Rustan's.

But the mababang quality might just be a perception. maybe since alam ng person na bumili na Singapore version ang nabili niya, pwedeng na condition na ang isip nya na iba yung quality niya with the original (US/European). Much better talaga that there are objective people who can compare the two.

Nangyari na sa akin dati yun kasi before feeling ko talaga mas better ang tester perfumes na ginagamit ko than the original bottles  kasi I thought that kung gustong ipatest ng company yung product nila, they will choose the best of the batch. Perception ko lang ito ha. Pero when I asked my friends to compare both the tester and the original, sabi nila the same lang.

^ I know, it's just me he he.

isipin mo nalang, bakit ang victorias secret na more or less eh 500 each bottle, ginagawan pa ng peke... diba?

madami din kasing nagogoyo.

another example, our local Prescripto, branded perfumes are sure targets kasi na gayahin, once makopya mo, makakabenta ka, sureball yan. kaya they make an effort para gayahin especially yung mga mahal talaga and sobrang mabenta.. ang kaibahan lang, those perfumes from Prescripto carry their own brand name, hindi sila gumagaya ng packaging and they dont carry the brandname nung kinopya nila. pero tingnan mo, anong pang-alok ng mga SA nila, "mam, ser, version po namin to ng blah-blah"..

^ but usually me mga minor details na nakakaligtaan ang mga fakers to differentiate themselves from the originals, kahit class AAAA (or how many A's) pa yung fake/replica, me slight details silang nakakalimutan.

E sa SG perfume kasi as in sobrang kuha lahat (accdg to qtpie). O kaya ipa check sa Luxasia (since matagal na sila sa business) yung mga SG perfumes if they can tell the difference. Like for example pagtabihin ang SG at original, malaman kaya nila ang pagkakaiba? I hope so kasi ang tagal na nila sa business so they should have a way of differentiating the original one.
