I just had an experience contacting BDO via their feedback form on their website --> http://www.bdo.com.ph/feedback.asp and didn't expect they would have very prompt replies. They replied thru email with the address: CALLCENTER@bdo.com. ph.

Meron kasi akong dispute regarding debited amounts from my balance kahit unsuccessful ang transaction and so far, I had several exchanges of emails with them. Was told that my case was forwarded and that I have to wait for 5 working days for the amount to be reversed in my account. Not bad.

visited BDO yesterday and was surprised na bumaba pala ang interest rate for savings account. from 0.5% naging 0.375% na pala.

oo nga mga sis, nagulat ako when i saw their notice placed sa desk nila, matagal tagal na din na hindi ako nakapunta ng bank, went there to pull out my fixed income fund kasi mababa ang return.

hayy sobrang liit na ng bank interest rates ngayon

^actually sis, yung FIF ko, EIP siya, pero 300+ lang ata ang kita for 6 months

i have bdo equity (EIP) , bdo balanced fund, and bpi equity, sis. the rest, for stocks na. not much though.

im still contemplating to get another equity with financial as major fund allocation sa portfolio, pero ala pa ako time to visit other banks. maybe sa august, para mas mababa ang navpu. i read somewhere about August as ghost month.

ewan ko lang kung totoo. hehe

You can check bloomberg and check the chart to see if its
true hehe.

I did a quick check
2011 - true
2010 and 2009 - false

Market timing is very hard to do.
And if you make a mistake, parang its very hard to
forget.

Ghost Month means the spirits and bad/evil entities roam the streets to do bad things... Sabi sa Feng Shui Ghost Month is not the good time to invest, wed, build/ move house - basta, to start something new.

Mga sis,
Pag august ba usually mataas ang valye ng pera like umaakyat ang stocks ang tubo ng mga sda, etc?
Sa maremember ko umaakyat talaga pag papuntang Christmas time.

Another question sa bdo credit card, yung annual fees nila na ginawang 'monthly fee' na, paano yun pinapawaive you waive it every month na paulit ulit? Parang nakakapanghina tong bdo cc nato ah..

nacurios din ako du sa bdo rewardscard..sabay kami nagopen ng savings account ng kawork ko..sabay rin namin hinuhulugan and pareho kami ng naihuhulog na..tapos siya meron ng rewards card na pinadala ako wala pa! lol parang ang daya

though wala pa rin 50k savings namin..kapag ba ginamit as debit card to pay for purchases sa sm possible na makakuha ng rewards card?

also, i know that bdo offers credit card to their cliemts kapag may certain amount of savings ka ng naiipon..alam ko sa kuya ko and sa friend ko ganito nangyari..tanong ko lang hoe much yung dapat na savings before ka maalok ng credit card and does it still have requirements? wala kasi ako itr dahil exempted ako from paying taxes eh gusto ko sana kumuha

Hi sis snix, usually para wala nang requirements, nirerefer ng branch yung client. Meron sila referral form. Better if dun sa branch of account mo para maview nila history ng account mo.
