For you, which is better Windows Vista or Windows 7?

windows 7 of course is better...
Vista is prone to viruses even though it is so sensitive...

so far i love my win7 over vista.. di ko pa siya namamaximize ng husto yet what i love is that ramdam ko talaga yung speed ng pc ko.. unlike when im using my vista dati, 2 gig of ram and quadcore eh hindi mo maramdaman.

so far its been great for me. expected naman kasing marami pang conflicts in terms of compatibility platforms with other softwares. overall happy naman.

pinagaaralan ko pa yung sinasabi nilang pwedeng xp module or vista module yung gagamitin.. dont know if thats true or interchangable. yung pede mong gamitin yung xp as your main shell just in case may mga compatibility issues yung isang program with win7.

I've tried Vista...& i must say dami ko talagang complaints...I had it when Vista was newly released, bundled with the laptop...My worst complain...sobrang sensitive yet very prone to viruses...& sobrang bagal.

My hubby suggested Windows 7 because he said his laptop's performance improved. So I tried it...no regrets trying it...super nag-improve talaga ang performance ng laptop ko!

talaga pwede yun? i like too the win7 compared to vista.. yun nga lang madami pa din syang compatibility issues

Windows 7. I'll always sa NO to windows vista. Who needs those moving desktop icons anyway? Hehe.
My current OS is still winXP. It is still the most practical, efficient and STABLE version of windows to date.

Does it differ if you're using vista then installed the upgrade software from vista to win7? or just buy a separate win7 installer then format the pc instead? thanks

^ Complete format is always better than upgrade, that is if you have the time to do it.

his sis! it doesnt really differ if you have preinstalled win vista on your computer and do an upgrade vs having a complete clean install on you computer. both installations have pros and cons though. you might want to read more regarding facts of win 7 and its upgrade at microsoft.com

just make sure to make a back up of your files to a flash drive or to an external hard drive so that if there are lost files along the transition, then you will be sure you still have your data handy.

if you will opt for upgrade though, you have to run through the upgrade advisor so that it can check the software that is compatible with win 7. as for the hardware though, you can check compatibility with this site: www.microsoft.com/compatibility

easy to install and it doesn't slow down my laptop compared to vista.

boot up is much faster and i had no trouble with driver installation both on a desktop and laptops

it even worked on older laptops here in the office.

and the Live Taskbar Preview feature is really cool for me
