I'm on the IC. Got my first shot last August and my second shot before this month ends.

I felt no side-effects whatsoever, so i find it better than drinking pills.

Ask your Gyne about it.

I'm on the IC also. No side effects, so far.

Question though, is it okay to take diet pills (e.g. reductil) while on the IC? Thanks!

i dont know about IC but this is what it says on a website:

Does Reductil interact with the use of birth control pills?

The suppression of ovulation by oral contraceptives was not inhibited by Reductil. Therefore Reductil has no effects on the effectiveness of birth control pills. You may safely take your birth control pills while taking Reductil.

- although i really dont recommend it, because i think the ic and the reductil is being metabolized by the same liver enzymes.

ang takot ko rin kasi about this one is once na inject na siya there's no backing out. unlike pag oral,if may kakaiibang feeling you can always stop diba

This is what I'm palnning to use next month..since sabi ni gyne okay naman sya sa breeastfeeding mom like me...and mas mukhang mas maganda sya sa oral less side effects...

medyo matagal ka nga lang maghihintay if you want to conceive once again..

Pero i think mas safe to kesa yong every 3 months.

Ask your OB na lang, di ko na kasi maalala yong brand na ginamit sa akin. Umalis na kasi ulet si hubby kaya di ko na ulet kailangan.

hi sissies! pa-join..

im planning to have an IC too..kasi pag sa pills sometimes u tend to forget to take it e..

my college friend kasi is working at alpha med..and she mentioned that they have this IC, the brandname is NORIFAM..every month daw yung injection.. 120php daw sa kanila..my problem is kung sino mag iinject sakin  ;D
and if ano kaya magging side effect..
kasi before i was taking nordette as emergency pills..ayun feeling ko that was the reason kung bakit ako nag bacne..
and sabi ng friend ko yung NORIFAM daw is proven to make your skin beautiful and make ur boobs bigger..
so i was so concious, i want to have bigger boobs din kasi..i told her i will buy three pcs.
i made some research about this product kaso 2 lang ata yung lumabas..and wala din masyado explaination..
haaaay..i hope some of our sissies here have tried this so that i will have an idea.. :)
