Question:

1. Pag used car how much usually ang budget?

2. Do you prefer ba cash to pay or bank finance?

3. ano magandang bank to get an auto loan?

We've sold cars before and my take on manager's check is that it's ok as long as you bring the buyer with you to the bank and deposit it immediately or verify if it's a good MC. Dapat kasama si buyer and wag muna bibitawan ang papers and car unless verified na ang MC and na-deposit na sa account. My brother in law sold his car 3 years back and was paid a fake MC. The transaction was done on a saturday and when he deposited the MC in UCPB on a Monday, ayun fake daw and closed na daw nung 2005 pa yung account na pinanggalingan. From then on, pag nagbebenta kame ng cars, kelangan direct deposit sa account namin, meaning, samahan namin sya sa bdo and idedeposit nya kagad ang money sa account namin para sure.
Whatever I want, I get. If I can't, I don't stop TRYING.

Napepeke na pala ang MC. So that's the reason why when we bought a used car last tuesday, the owner asked my husband the number of the MC. Siguro he verified it sa bank. Now, we have our car na :)

Any one here na may ganitong situation?  TIA

We're in search din of a used car, so makikijoin ako dito. ;)
This is it! Or is this really it?!

^^ it depends on what brand of car do you like and if the car na gusto mo if medyo sikat pa. like ang mga honda, ang reselling value nila is medyo mataas kesa sa toyota kase maraming toyota cars ang taxi BUT when it comes to parts, mas mahal ang honda parts.

depende sa year ng car ang magiging reselling value nito lalo na if the brand of car mo eh naglabas na ng mas bagong model, lalong bababa ang reselling price ng isang car.

mas maganda if magbayaran sa bank.

^okay ang mileage niya for a 7y/o car but malakas kumain sa gas ang xtrail. May ganyan ang tita ko and they sold it nalang. Sure na hindi nalubog from recent bagyos and if hindi pa naoverhaul or di pa nagpapaoverhaul...

^
certificate of registration
lto official receipts
hpg vehicle clearance certificate

bukod sa deed of sale, ang tatlong yan ang pinaka-importante sa buyer. sama mo na rin insurance documents at kung meron nagawang record/history of repairs ng vehicle.

HPG stands for highway patrol group ng pnp. kelangan ng clearance para malaman kung may hot car or hindi ang vehicle bago makapag process ng change of ownership ang lto. you pay 300 pesos for the clearance thru landbank. sa ID, two valid IDs will do.

Ok bang bumili sa car bidding/auction?
What should I do for due diligence?

I want to buy a 2nd hand car to learn and practice driving, around 50k-200k lang.
I will use it to drive from home to work and vice versa.
Pag nag taxi ako around 20mins lang for 120php if no traffic, 40-60mins if matraffic 150php.
That's the only budget I have now, also, knowing my family, I'm sure they will borrow it and sooner or later magiging kanila din yun kaya I just want to buy it cheap so it would be easy for me to let go.
